Welcome back to the Blurred Spectrum Podcast, where we are here to give you a new topic. No, it's not a new topic, it's one of my favorite episodes from all of our episodes, and that is when I have the power round robin.
SPEAKER_03Wow. The direction we went with that one. I'm I'm surprised.
SPEAKER_02You know what's interesting? The the the the hate speech that you threw at me the last time we did this. The hate speech. Um what hate speech? I I went back and I read it in my head over and over and over again. And I I've actually come to accept and even appreciate it. So, welcome to part three of Succi No Terror Chair, where we or I throw questions at you, two our panelists, to determine what their knee-jerk responses and answers are to such questions like this or that, who or what, where, and when. Our panelists today are three what happened. Our panelists today are three phenomenal human beings who have come here to uh try their hand at answering these questions without fault. So if they have any fault, you'll be the ones to determine it. Starting with your hostess with the most is the leader of Suchi No Torture. That is Suchi no shogun. Uh, who else is here today? Well, we have the black McCoy.
SPEAKER_03Oh, hey, how y'all doing? Welcome. Have a spell, sit a spell, have a little clip with us.
SPEAKER_02Oh Lord, Kaze Shinryu. That's good, uh-huh. And we have uh the indomitable Ms. Skittles.
SPEAKER_00Hello, hello everyone.
SPEAKER_02So if I was to say anything, I would say that these three individuals are probably the ones that have had the most to say about the round robin. And I am grateful to have these three individuals here by themselves to take on the full brunt of these questions. So let's just go ahead and get into it. We're not gonna hold anybody back any longer. So I have a few questions that I would like to ask to each and every one of you, and I want you to give me your knee-jerk reactions to the questions in order of the people who I call on. So, who am I gonna start with? Which question am I gonna start for? I'm going to start with the question what's better, southern cooking or international cuisine? And I'm gonna start with the person who doesn't have either one of those things, Kaze Shinryu.
SPEAKER_03The look on his face, the disgust, the utter disdain. He's like, what an unwashed question.
SPEAKER_04It's given um it's given binary, it's given um it's given we haven't been friends for the past for the past decade.
SPEAKER_03It's calling into question the friendship that I thought I had.
SPEAKER_04Um uh also I need to I need to taste more international food. I've uh I probably I probably didn't taste it about 15 to 20 different countries, but that's not enough. Like because you you got all of internet all of not here versus all of not here.
SPEAKER_02All of not here.
SPEAKER_05Well like true.
SPEAKER_04Um yeah, yeah. Not not gonna betray my spirit, I'm gonna abstain to thine own self uh being true. Okay, so the closest thing I'll give you to our answer is that if I want, you know, comfort, we'll go southern. Uh but if I'm feeling uh adventurous, we will go international.
SPEAKER_02And okay, that's a good answer. That's a good answer. All right. So uh we'll hold off on asking the actual southern cook and we'll go to the one who normally partakes of international cuisines and actually even cook some Miss Skittles.
SPEAKER_00So I feel like I feel sad. This is disrespectful. I'm gonna tell you right now, it's disrespectful. Um, because because like you know, like I grew up on you know, southern cooking. Like, who that who has grown up on southern cooking? It's it's northerners. Well, but they know what southern cooking is when they eat it, I guarantee they like, oh, this shit is hitting. Okay, it hits different, it's way different. But um man, this is fucked up. You know why? Because when when I think of southern cooking, I automatically think of mac and cheese, like the the right way.
SPEAKER_03Say it again, say it again.
SPEAKER_00Say mac and cheese.
SPEAKER_03I'm glad that I was thinking then you said it.
SPEAKER_00So in my head, it's it's it's literally like you asked me, is mac and cheese better than international cooking?
SPEAKER_03Does this one dish?
SPEAKER_00Right. It's literally, I mean, yes, there's a whole lot of uh amazing dishes in southern cooking, but mac and cheese is like the ultimate like God.
SPEAKER_02It's like mac and cheese is life, yeah.
SPEAKER_00It's literally God. So it's just like how how can you do such a thing? Because I've had oh, you know, oh I hate you.
SPEAKER_01I did good, yes.
SPEAKER_00So no, so um, you know what? I'm I'm gonna have to say I'm gonna have to say international. I'm I'm saying international because there's there's so many there's so many other dishes that come to mind that that I just like I don't think I could I'd be upset that I never had it before. Like if if I thought about never having that before, I'd probably be like bitch. Like get your shit up because you're that's crazy. Um but there are so many other dishes in different nations that I I fuck with having like so as much as I love mac and cheese, I'ma have to go with the many other dishes that I just I cannot do without.
SPEAKER_02Okay, and now to the southern cook, the black mccoy.
SPEAKER_00Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead.
SPEAKER_05They can't hear you drinking sips tea.
SPEAKER_02Sips tea and southern.
SPEAKER_05Right.
SPEAKER_03You you came on here and you did this on purpose. You just you just wanted to retaliate that call.
SPEAKER_02First off, I had no idea who was going to be on this episode. These questions were pre-organized. There's there's no way I would have known that this particular sequence of individuals were gonna be on today.
SPEAKER_04No idea the niggas were on every episode.
SPEAKER_03Much like much like all of your other explanations for literally anything convenient. Convenient. Um I am going to go with southern cuisine. No, and I have a reason for that, you raggedy bitch. Oh since you want to try to be sarcastic about some shit. As Miss Kittle stated. Uh mac and cheese is um it is definitely that state, one of those staple meals. We use it to describe everything from how we feel to how sex feels. And you know what? And and sounds. So on top of that, there is something renowned and universal or just just about the the way in which the the the practice and the the very meticulous and fullhardy skill of deep frying things has traversed many, many cultures from from its southern roots. Um I immediately think of Korean fried chicken. Uh, if it were not for us, then ooh, we wouldn't even have that wonder and that beauty.
SPEAKER_01I see what he did there.
SPEAKER_03And you know what? Um I've had many, I've had, ooh, everything from grape leaves to some some I haven't unlike Mosquito's, I haven't had like fully authentic ramen, but I've had some like good, good ramen, um, some awesome sushi. Oh, some some great Italian and French cuisine. But I tell you what, some things cannot just be being fried. And on top of that, as many cultures use cheese in some very miraculous ways, mac and cheese. Mac and cheese just so happens to be that one dish in which uh a fusion, uh uh a symbiosis, if you will, of not simply just one, but multiple cheeses. If you are so fullhardy to test your metal, come together in a way that transcends one's own taste buds.
SPEAKER_00First of all, if you make a mac and cheese with just one cheese, you basically that's basic.
SPEAKER_03You might as well call yourself Karen and throw yourself into the manager's office right now.
SPEAKER_00Throwing in the manager's office. Can I speak to the chef, please?
SPEAKER_03As difficult a decision as this is, I will go with uh Seth and Cuisine.
SPEAKER_02Thank you for your answer. Um, real quick, I'm starting I'm starting to notice a pattern. Uh, listeners, if you start to hear a lot of uh gaps in sound, it's because uh the questions that I am giving our panelists are uh uh very deep and thought-provoking, and they need time to process and think about exactly what the answers are to these different things. Uh a lot of these questions will make them portray their truths and make them think about what they really thought the day before today.
SPEAKER_03Uh so you know, just just just be glad the show's not named after you because then we would need to find a new host and rename the show.
SPEAKER_02So as we continue, Suchi, no torture. Um the next question is Marvel versus Capcom three or DC versus Mortal Kombat.
SPEAKER_03Oh, easily Marvel versus Capcom.
SPEAKER_00Like, I don't I I I just I don't know. Like, I thought I thought you were gonna say, like, I don't know what I thought, but yeah. Capcom easy, like what who even played that other game?
SPEAKER_04Like, did anyone even really care when it drops? Oh, I mean, I think people were excited till they played it. Like, it was you said till they played it, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Like conceptually, right?
SPEAKER_00I just played Mortal Kombat. That's just I mean, that's it. Like DC.
SPEAKER_04Um, yeah, because they they couldn't do anything with the licenses. You can't do Mortal Kombat shit to Wonder Woman, right? Like they they all the all the fatalities and stuff got like super. I mean, we pretty much got really, really bad injustice.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's even when they put Mortal Kombat characters in Injustice, it was like, Y'all don't need to be here.
SPEAKER_00Like my yeah, like we just we just did this, right?
SPEAKER_04We saw how unsuccessful this was. It wasn't even like Mortal Kombat character that you hadn't seen in a while.
SPEAKER_03It was just like the next niggas, sub zero, and Raiden. Like it was like, go away. Like you did not need to be here. Go back to that world, go back to Earth Realm in the new 52 over here.
SPEAKER_04No, don't don't don't only say versus what's the name did was set the groundwork for injustice. So we we appreciate your sacrifice.
SPEAKER_00I think I think I think we uh I think we we bonded together on this one and not quickly because UG over here, like, oh I got a question at all.
SPEAKER_02That that question was on purpose, it was to lower your defenses for this next and this is a deep one, so I hope you're paying attention. Let me move my mic a little closer. Pineapples. So you have a choice of four different types of equipments, and you have to choose which one you would like to survive in say uh something like a Dark Souls Elden Ring type of game, right? Okay, so you have to choose. We have to pick one choose one, yes, suit of armor, no weapons, weapons, no armor, magic, all other skills are at zero, okay invincibility, which I call invincibility, and immortality, but you can't learn what the fuck is that but you can't learn any offensive or defeat offensive skills, and you can't equip anything. Would you like me to say this again? Yes, suit of armor, definitely threw me off. Suit of armor, and this is the strongest armor you can find, but no weapons. Weapons, any weapon you would like, but zero armor, magic, but all your other skills are at zero. That's you know, defense, uh standard physical defense, uh, physical uh offense, pretty much everything, but uh what is it, intelligence? Everything else is zero, dexterity, speed, everything at zero. Uh invincibility, which is invincibility. I made up this word this morning. Invincibility and immortality. Uh, but you can't learn any offensive or defensive skills or and you can't equip to anything.
SPEAKER_03So if all of my other skills are zero, if I have magic, that means my magic isn't going to increase in power at any point in time. What do you mean? Because usually for your magic to be more powerful, you have to be able to have higher intelligence.
SPEAKER_02No, that's I said intelligence is the only one that increases. Oh, okay. All your other skills do not increase.
SPEAKER_03So kind of like with Maple.
SPEAKER_02Well, no, Maple at least had like I mean, I said kinda kinda, like in the game. Yeah, yeah, that's what I was thinking of when I put it. Yeah. Okay. Uh so we'll start with Ms. Skittles.
SPEAKER_05Damn it.
SPEAKER_02She got too quiet. She gotta figure out.
SPEAKER_00So shit. Like part of me wants to lean towards magic, but the other part of me wants to just be a savage and go ham with all the weapons. No, no, no armor, like fuck it. I I I get whatever weapon I want, and and goddamn it, I'm blowing some shit up. Fuck everything. Yeah, actually.
SPEAKER_02So yes, all weapons, no armor. That's it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm in there. Fuck it. Let's do it. Let's do it.
SPEAKER_03She wants to smoke and she got it. And she got it. Uh the black McCoy. So, preliminary question before I get mad. Are we living in this world or yes? Oh, hmm. Where else would you be living? I'm just, I didn't know if it was a game or if we lived there. Oh no, no, no.
SPEAKER_01You you alive in this place.
SPEAKER_00We incarnated into right.
SPEAKER_03Okay, so question with invincitality. Oh, geez. Do I still feel pain?
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_03Does my invince does my invincibleness mean that simply that I cannot be like eviscerated or mutilated or maimed?
SPEAKER_02Your invincible invinciality uh is similar to what's that nigga's name? Oaken from uh uh Ranking of Kings.
SPEAKER_03Ooh, don't know who that is yet. Haven't caught up.
SPEAKER_04Um, oops. You said what? No, I just said they didn't get that far. And and I and I knew that's what we were gonna go with.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_03It's funny because I was gonna be like, like um invincible, like um, okay.
SPEAKER_02Um uh what's the best way to do this? Um, so you can be it's like okay, Deadpool. You can be eviscerated, but you can formulate yourself back. Yes.
SPEAKER_00Um, wait, wait, wait, wait.
SPEAKER_03Um, so so magic all the way. I I do not want to live through that. Uh I would I would soon, I would like magic is already you know, you know, magic's already an immediate inclination. Like, I would rather have all the magic power and be able to do whatever the fuck I wanted. Um, and for all intents and purposes, depending on what magical how high my magic is and what magical skills I can already like acquire, that wouldn't be a problem anyway. Because then I could probably, you know, defend like I could probably enchant myself to not have to deal with life or death situations or even deal with being eviscerated. Now, if I had to like if I had invincibility, no, if I could still experience pain and be like fucked up and just have to regrow my, I don't want to do that. Like I would rather phenomenal cosmic power if I gotta walk slow and my physical strength is literally zero as long as I can as long as I can protect myself, I'm totally fine.
SPEAKER_01Okay, what were you about to say, Miss Ms. Skittles? Well you were you reneging real quick?
SPEAKER_00Oh no, I'm not. I just then I remembered you said you could still feel pain. And if I I want to be a dead pool and feel pain, like no pain.
SPEAKER_03And then I gotta regrow my shit. I don't know how long it's gonna take. I'm not I'm not very patient. I'm not patient at all. I'm I'm not I'm not not patient, but like it's it's a very like in terms of like actual realized skills. If you had to like give me a stat chart, it would be the lowest skill.
SPEAKER_02Ridiculousness.
SPEAKER_03I'm not waiting for a leg and I'm not waiting for two legs to grow back.
SPEAKER_04No, honestly, I'll probably I've probably done bills like all of these.
SPEAKER_01Yes, which is uh which is why I waited for you to be the last one.
SPEAKER_04Yep, uh, and they and they all had definitely have their uh merits. Uh honestly, something like uh especially especially since you picked like a dark souls or or uh or elden ring, uh being being invisible is that's it. Like if if if your intention is to mind your business, you were good. You can go do what the fuck you wanna do. And a few things that can hear or sense you, you know, you just get the fuck away. Or or you kill that nigga because you're gonna win. One way or another.
SPEAKER_03Uh yeah.
SPEAKER_04Uh let me let me run over this poison patch, and then we one of us is gonna walk away from it. But um uh, but yeah, solution. So if I felt like minding my business, I would probably I would probably go that route. Um I would only pick the armor if uh if uh if if my if my gauntlets were reinforced and I could uh uh you know hand out some two pieces two pieces and some biscuits. Uh yeah, and that's just toss up between the other two as well. But as far as uh I'll say just sheer versatility, uh I'd I'd say magic magic as well. You know, you can you can go melee magic, you can you can you can get defensive mitigations with magic. Uh you can uh you can improve your mobility, you can maximize your utility, you know, you can do all the things. So uh and you can do a surprising number of those things going on weapons too. There's a lot of utility and weapon skills and whatnot. But uh, but no, yeah, magic. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I like this question. If you could be a simp.
SPEAKER_03No, no, no.
SPEAKER_02If you could be a simp, what would you simp for? And just in case you don't know what a simp is, the urban dictionary's definition of a simp is someone who does way too much for a person they like. So if you could be a simp, uh, what would you simp for? And we will start with uh the black McCoy. I'm already a simp. Wow. And what for?
SPEAKER_03Do I need to say it out loud?
SPEAKER_02Oh, oh yeah, I was like, what are you talking about? I don't get it. Oh, okay. Uh is a symmetry.
SPEAKER_04Uh no.
SPEAKER_03Wait, what do you mean no? That was not one of the answers. Like that there's nothing in life that falls into that category for me.
SPEAKER_04I I mean, I I I mean, the problem the the you know, the the the the thing that the problem is the uh is the is the too much. The thing that makes that too much is because that uh is because that other person does not care and and and does not plan on reciprocating. The the thing what you were sipping for with which means that I'm I am I am no longer here doing this thing. It doesn't I never started because you might as well not exist for that person. I haven't gotten that far. Ever uh oh my skittles I'll I'm I'll I need let me I'll come back about the skittles.
SPEAKER_00So all of my snipping is for things that are are not uh real, they're all fictional characters and uh 2D. Um yeah, 3D models if I get them. So uh that's what I'm simping for. I'm simping for I'm simping for the um the the Todorokis, the um the Vincent Valentine's the T is the shoshomarus, the uh do I have to go down the list?
SPEAKER_02No, no, no.
SPEAKER_00I can keep I can keep going.
SPEAKER_02Um white hair don't care. We get it.
SPEAKER_00Um, and I ain't even make it to the women yet.
SPEAKER_02Oh Jesus. Well, there's a question for that later, so you hold off on that one.
SPEAKER_00That's who I'm sipping for. I'm not sipping for nothing else.
SPEAKER_02All right, Kaze. We've given Miss Skittles a chance. That's all I got.
SPEAKER_04All right. Um, yeah, Miss Skittles made some wonderful points.
SPEAKER_03Go ahead and throw Alucard on that list.
SPEAKER_04Uh yeah, and uh our panel knows me well. Uh I'm I I am fine with simping for uh Alucar because he probably uh he does not have the uh emotional availability to reciprocate any of the things, and I'm fine with that because neither do I really but um yeah yeah no I I'll I'll uh it it wouldn't it wouldn't be for long this simping stage but uh yeah yeah that uh that uh what do you what do you call that that that honey that honeymoon phase okay well this uh Miss Skittles and uh Kaze's answers well actually even the black McCoy's answers have brought me to my next question.
SPEAKER_02I was actually gonna do another one, but decided to do this one, so this is gonna be amazing. So who or whom is your anime, gaming, or cartoon marital partner? Now, technically, they asked the question is supposed to be like waifu or husbando uh or boo thang, but I just said marital partner because you know, you know, everybody gets a choice. So if you could pick an anime character, A one Uno, you know who this is for uh anime, gaming, or cartoon character to be your significant other from here on out to the end of time. Who would that character or per person be? And we're gonna start with I won't do that to you again. Uh, we'll start with uh the black McCoy. We all know uh uh someone has a little bit of time to the to to to delineate between all her booze, so we're gonna give her some time.
SPEAKER_05This is possible.
SPEAKER_03She's gonna get her a ditto who can transform.
SPEAKER_00No, I I I I would have a harem, okay? Like I don't understand.
SPEAKER_02One you you get one significant other. We'll we'll get to you, Miss Gittles.
SPEAKER_00Okay, I'm still I'm still thinking anyway, right?
SPEAKER_02The black McCoy. Oh, I didn't think this would take you as much time.
SPEAKER_03There's so many options. Um I I'm it's interesting because I'm like, who would I want to have like I'm thinking like Do Flamengo, it'd probably be interesting, but also I might die. Um, I was also thinking Kaido, Kaido will also probably uh be very toxic, but uh I literally thought it'd be crocodile.
SPEAKER_02I'm surprised.
SPEAKER_03No, I thought I thought about crocodile too, but I think that that nigga got a poison hook and can turn into sand. And after what we've talked about on Twitter for the last few years. Oh, stop, please not trying to deal with that. Um, so uh I even thought about uh uh Mr. Tom Riddle, uh, but that's a wow. Um I thought about Stephen Strange, but uh no, I even thought about Dr. Manhattan because that has a lot of potentialities, but I need a little bit more intimacy than that. Um actually a lot more. So my answer is actually going to be uh Avatar Quora. Mmm. I like I like I like the femme dom energy energy that she um has, and you know, when you can water bend. Wow. Uh I it's honestly it was between her and Ming Huah of the Red Lotus, and I because I probably actually Ming Hua of the Red Lotus, because Ming Hua is the baddest bitch to ever bend water, and she already makes tentacles already. So Mingwa, Minghua. Sure, Korra would be. I think Korra, I think Ming Hua could be gentle and be very intimate, but Korra gives off that like I'll make an ice dildo for you. And um, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Mingwa is so Mingwa, Mingwa could make it. Mingwa of the red lotus. Yeah, Mingwa. Ooh, I was just saying, I'm sorry, I just thought about all those fight scenes about Minghua. Wow.
SPEAKER_02Uh Kaize Shinri, you have time to uh ponder. Do you have your uh partner in crime, if you will? Oh man.
SPEAKER_04Uh yeah, you know, we uh you know I I I I hate the I hate I hate to bring up the you know proverbial, you know, table uh and what people uh bring to it, but if but but you know I had I had to kind of think of it in those terms and that let that led me to uh Boma. Like really like just bad bitch all around her.
SPEAKER_00Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_04Right, oh you know, uh I didn't see it covered. Me neither, honestly. Make making her niggas dreams like come true. It was like, oh, you're not strong as that nigga, baby. Here, here you go. I got you. Like, oh uh oh, you can't uh you you you you you can't quite get the super sand for baby. I hold up, I'm gonna go make a gun. Uh uh like oh oh you trying to uh you about to destroy the earth, but had have you tried these wings though? Almost like her cricket has saved the earth a couple times, right? Right, but like like you know, you don't you want to blow us up, but have you tried crumb brulee? Have you had lemon pepper? It's like it's like oh my my my my baby needs to be saved from another dimension. Like let me let me fix this time machine. Like it's like where are the limits? Like what what what what what what can't what can't we do? Like I'm not I'm I'm actually not sure. So uh yeah, yeah, okay. From all angles and and still being a bad bitch. Uh yeah. All right.
SPEAKER_02Uh well we have uh come down to it. Uh we are finally here. Uh Miss Skittles, do you have an answer for whom your person would be?
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_02Oh wow, I didn't expect yes.
SPEAKER_00Yes, so um, so I decided on Vincent Valentine because prior to his death, he he he actually got into his whole situation over a woman in the first goddamn place. So I I just I just want I just need that type of love in my life. Like, although I have all the other, you know, baddie um my my my others, they all they all have like things to them that I know that we might, you know, we might not get along very well, which is why which is why I only need them sometimes. Like sometimes I'm I'm in a settler off mood, sometimes I'm in a a sushi mood, but I I need I if I was gonna choose somebody to be like with me all the time, it would be easy.
SPEAKER_02Wow. So so what you're saying is white hair does not a partner make.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02Wow.
SPEAKER_00I mean they're that absolutely good for cheats anytime. Absolutely down for getting backs blown out or blown out backs, whatever you want to do with the white hair. I'm I'm all for that. Red hair, all for that too. But um, you know, I got yeah, at the end of the day, you might need you a dark haired, red-eyed, you know, monster.
SPEAKER_04So you want you want somebody that after they lose you, they're gonna lament that for the rest of their uh immortal life.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Forever love me.
SPEAKER_03I know that's right. That's that's why I like the shit like that. Is why I always lament like mortal attachments. I'm like, nah. Oh, not even mortal attachment, like non-fictional life and romance. Fiction has ruined my expectations of what I was ruined everything.
SPEAKER_02Okay, next question. If you were an anamorph, and for those who don't know what an anamorph is, it's based off of a book story, we should actually go and read the series. Where you know, individuals could turn into animals by morphing. Um, due to alien powers, but you know, again, go read the stories. But if you were an anamorph, what would be your chosen animal? And we'll start with Kaze Shinri.
SPEAKER_00This is easy.
SPEAKER_03I figured the Black of Course is easy too. Like Sunday morning.
SPEAKER_04Uh yeah, I'ma uh uh yeah, I'm gonna go I'm gonna go with the uh you know one one of the lessons from the book. I'm gonna go with uh the the Hort Bajir.
SPEAKER_02There we go.
SPEAKER_04Uh incredibly strong, quite agile. We got we got the Baraka like spikes coming out all the places and offices, like uh yeah, we can uh what whatever's happening or going down, uh we we we got the tools to uh to deal with it. Um, you know, just can't stay in there too long because they a little slow. Exactly. Uh but but but but aside from that, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I don't want to be like Tobias. Um, Miss Skittles.
SPEAKER_00Well, you already know for those of you who know me, you already know there is one animal. The energy, there is one animal on this on this entire planet that I absolutely would fuck with like in person, like roll up next to it and and and pet it and might get eaten, but I wouldn't care because you know what worth it, right? We're bonded together at life for for life, and that would be the lion. Lion is my shit, and and and you know, I I don't even want I as much as I love the lioness, I would have to be a lion because of the mane. Okay, I need the mane too, okay.
SPEAKER_03Makes perfect sense.
SPEAKER_00I just I I need all of that. I need the eyes.
SPEAKER_03I may I'm I may struggle with this hero sometimes in real life. But if I'm gonna stick with it, right.
SPEAKER_00Yes, I need I need the eyes, I need the the the ears, the the roar, the teeth, the I need all of that. I need the command presence bitch, king of the motherfucking earth, not just the savannah or the job.
SPEAKER_03Wherever the fuck these niggas living.
SPEAKER_00Africa, no, India. I look everywhere, the earth, yeah. Me, lion, things, things, okay.
SPEAKER_03The black McCoy. So my naturally inclined answer would be the elephant. But I said, you know, let me think about the other animals that I love, and I love so many animals, also considered um a python. Um but you know, um, also I like to have limbs. Um so um I went in a different direction with another one of my favorite animals. I also thought about the Tasmanian devil, like they are horrific, horrifically um aggressive creatures. But actually, I remember when I was little, I found when I found out they didn't spin, like I was. I felt so betrayed. I was like, what you mean these niggas don't turn around? Like, but um my actual answer would be an orangutan. Um I like I've always had a I've always loved AICE and I've always loved the I've all I've all I despite how where we are in human history, I always thought the fact that we evolved to no longer have that kind of like a pulsable hand thumb on our feet was always a downgrade, evolutionarily speaking. Um I wanted a creature that was strong but agile, able to climb. Um, and I I I like the idea of being able to scope from on high. And I do love like treetops, and orangutans are very mobile creatures in that regard. So um, yeah, and also very powerful, uh, as most uh great apes are. So yeah, orangutans. All right.
SPEAKER_02Excellent answers. So now I'm gonna take the questions in a different direction. What game video game would make a actually video game, board game, any type of game? What game would make a good uh anime? And I think I'll start with uh Mosquito Sword. No, I'm thinking knee jerk responses.
SPEAKER_00So you said a uh game that would make a good anime, yes. So um knee jerk uh dynasty warriors.
SPEAKER_02I'd watch that almost like Ronin Warriors, a little bit more.
SPEAKER_00We can go deep. We can go deep into that. That's what I'm that's what I'm I see. I mean, there's already a story there, so they have I think they have a couple movies.
SPEAKER_03I don't know if they actually have like a show.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I don't think it's a show, it's definitely movies though. Yes, I and they cosplay would love that. Uh Kaze Shinriu.
SPEAKER_04Uh please don't say Dark Souls. Uh excuse me. Uh I'm gonna go with uh Cyberpunk 2077. The uh the game, the game the game is based on a uh a penny, uh pen and paper game made by a black gentleman uh back in the 70s or 80s, but there is uh just immense amount of like lore and world building that even though the game is gigantic, a lot, you know, half of it just doesn't get touched upon. So uh I and I mean that'll probably be true of said anime too, but just just just tackling this giant world from another uh more palpable uh like medium that more people can kind of absorb and jump into. I think uh yeah, I think anime would be fantastic. It'll be very uh very ghost in the shell. Very um uh what's what's that one you bring up all the time with the guns? Psychopaths uh yeah, like very psychopaths.
SPEAKER_03Oh I didn't even watch the anime, I got that before you did. I was like the one I bring up for all the guns.
SPEAKER_00Hey, I'm like guns.
SPEAKER_03Like there's a bunch of those like that. Nah, that was a process, but I immediately knew it was okay. Yeah, but I knew where I was going. Okay, uh, the black mcloy. Um monopoly. Absolutely not, but yeah, no, I think Monopoly would make a really I I'm thinking like in like Monopoly would make a great like Saw I'm thinking, yeah, like Saw, Squid Game, Death Game kind of like stakes. Um and I think that Monopoly, I think Monopoly would hit a lot harder than Squid Game did. And I think I think and the reason I say that is because like when we when I think about Squid Game, like the the way Squid Game became so extremely popular just for like the things that it did in the show, like I think the the commentary of the actual show flew so far over so many people's heads just because of the spectacle. And I think Monopoly would bring that home a bit more and combining that with like a plot with characters who have legitimate problems that they're going through, as well as a lot of the like a lot of the actual tactics that come along with like capitalism, even if you extend it to like a global, global capitalistic scale, would be a lot more triggering for the audience, especially when you combine it with the death game format. And so they would I mean you don't really have to kill people. You I mean I mean capitalism literally kills people, exactly.
SPEAKER_02That's what I'm saying. You don't have to put the death game aspect on it, it already is a death game.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. And uh it would, it would, um, it would hyper-realize the the literal conditions under which we live already. And I think that that'll be really important and really great to watch in as far as like anime.
SPEAKER_02The the weird part is I agree with you, and I I'm scared of that because I think in my head, I see like a mixture of like super crooks and the great defenders, great pretenders, sorry, and just the idea of like I see it like a team of people who are tasked to do a bunch of different things, and in their tasks, they like buy these properties, but in buying these properties, they throw people out and people come homeless, and then like people like cheat and they like you know hide money under the board, and people get sent to like jail, and people go see them in jail and they make secret deals. Like, I see this whole dramatic piece, but then I'm like, that happens now daily, and it's like God, I don't think like on top of what you said about Squid Game, I was also thinking, and I'm I'm not supposed to be doing this, but I also think about the fact that um another reason why people did not see those specific points is because one, it was a different language, so they believed, oh, that must happen there, and then two, like you said, it's a game show or game uh a drama. So people are like, oh, that can never happen, the you know, the naive people. So it's like putting Monopoly, I agree, it would Americanize it, if you will, and show the niggas in this on this side of the pond and in the UK that this shit could really happen to anybody. But then when you add that game element, that deaf game element, it takes away from it. Now they're like, Oh, that can never happen. Like, people still don't believe like spies exist. And I'm like, really?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but and it's it's like nothing that it can really happen. But it is actually happening. It's impressive. But Mr.
SPEAKER_02Kidders, you about to say something?
SPEAKER_00No, I was gonna say like high rise invasion, I could see that the monopoly aspect.
SPEAKER_03I still didn't finish that show. Those first two episodes did not booming in.
SPEAKER_00I mean, it's a it's a death game anime. I know, I know. So yeah. I mean, a lot of people are like, oh, I didn't like it, but then they watch Squid Games now, oh yeah. Literally what's the difference? It's literally like Alice and Borderland, or yeah, Borderlands turned into an anime. Niggas is in the middle of a goddamn game and getting fucking killed, and and they try to figure out how the fuck to get out of the game or what the fuck are they supposed to be doing in the first damn place?
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna have to give it a rewatch. I'm gonna have to give it a second chance.
SPEAKER_00But yeah, all right.
SPEAKER_02Next question for our panelists what anime, gaming, or cartoon character is most similar to you in terms of personality.
SPEAKER_00So I have three of these. Um Miss Gittle. It comes up a lot in our community.
SPEAKER_02So I just noticed we never asked that question on the show, so I was like, oh, okay, let's start it out. Oh, so yes, since you already had pre predetermined answers. Go ahead, Miss Gittles.
SPEAKER_00So um Damn, did I forget the third one? I think I forgot the third one. But anyways, the I know for the first two um are um from Fairy Tail. And then there's I'm also a little sprinkle. Um Aladdin from um I don't know, Magi Maggie, whatever y'all wanna call it. Um I have drawing a blank on that one. Wait, you said it you said any, but you said any genre, right?
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay. So then um Harley Quinn.
SPEAKER_02Who was the last one?
SPEAKER_00Harley Quinn.
SPEAKER_02Harley Quinn.
SPEAKER_00Those are my like not yes.
SPEAKER_02That last one I didn't see that coming.
SPEAKER_00Um, you know, because I have that, you know, that side of me that's just like a little crazy. And yeah, I don't, I mean, like I care, but I don't care. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So so the crazy thing is, not really that crazy. Um, I can completely and utterly see you as an Urza. Like I can imagine you having like an entire warehouse full of armor and weapons uh that you can access probably by some type of digital device and switch on, switch off, just the same way you do your cosplays. Like you have your cosmetic cosplays, like you can switch on and switch off.
SPEAKER_00Really would be like easy.
SPEAKER_02And then, like, I see the I see the Aladdin where you know, the kind of uh childlike innocence being able to see like the good in people, but then as soon as they cross you, you know, the Leo comes out and Harley Quinn takes takes hold and then shit gets fucked up. I see it. I I definitely do.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you understand? Look at that. Okay, wonderful.
SPEAKER_02You had to break it down. I had to figure it out. Okay, I see that the black McCoy is still pondering, so we will go to Kazishin Ryu.
SPEAKER_04Uh actually it's funny, it's oh money. Oh no.
SPEAKER_02Y'all didn't see that, but the entire uh desk and camera shook on the Kazichin Ru side. That that was uh that hurt.
SPEAKER_04Oh Lord. Um uh actually uh random thought it's funny that uh they brought up Alatin, because a Latin a Alatin is like is like almost if uh if a bo if uh Boji from uh Ranking of Kings could speak. Um and like in love titties.
SPEAKER_02Yes, well we don't know yet. He's only been around his mama and Marin Joe. Let's not do that.
SPEAKER_00Is that little part of the Latin that's super perverted as fuck, but and that's me too.
SPEAKER_02Just laying on the lap, rubbing your head in some titties.
SPEAKER_04But somehow like still still pure.
SPEAKER_02That's exactly what I see. Like you walk past Miss Kittles, you're like, oh, there's nothing wrong here. Okay, keep it moving.
SPEAKER_04The love of Teddy's almost transcend sexuality.
SPEAKER_02No, it does, it does, it does. Something nurturing about it, Adam. It is comfortable.
SPEAKER_05It's a good thing.
SPEAKER_04Uh but um yeah, we're gonna we're gonna we definitely gonna toss toss in some uh some some shikamaru. Uh the that definitely felt that like this uh this just very clearly communicating to you the effort that all this uh all this living and social shit takes upon a person.
SPEAKER_03But but but when you know you you said shikamaru, and I apologize for interrupting me, and I immediately thought about during the shooting exams where um he was fighting tomorrow, no, oh um during the shooting exams where um kabuto where kabuto put everybody asleep and oh yes and he was like he wasn't even in the juice, he just he was just asleep in the he was like nah, I just decided to stay.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I was awake. Uh it just would have been a drag if I tried to do anything.
SPEAKER_03I just I just went to sleep.
SPEAKER_04Everybody else was asleep, so I mean them I was like, What did uh like a whole invasion the fuck you want me to do? Um chicken balls definitely definitely part partially my partially my spirit animal. Uh soon soon as soon as we met him, uh just like, yeah, mm-hmm, all of all of that. I feel sane. Uh then um uh I guess uh I mean it's kind of like a broken record at this point, but we're gonna we're gonna definitely go back uh uh to to my man uh Eisen. Uh my you know, minus uh some of the you know so sociopathic bands. Uh but also I'm not immortal, you know. Give me a thousand years, see what I'm you know, see what might develop some things. But uh yeah, definitely, yeah, a lot of a lot of the uh uh uh world world views, a lot of the uh uh semi-inflated uh self-worth. Uh the the the the the in the inability to uh the swallow people's bullshit. Um yeah, it just does not sit right with our system. Um yeah, there's probably another one somewhere, but I'll say, yeah, if you uh but you you give me an amalgamation of them too, you'll get uh you'll you'll you'll get somebody close to me.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Uh the black McCoy. So I had like I was at like six characters, so I had to like period. I was I would the reason I would look like I was deliberating for so long is I was trying to like swap some out. So I I finally made my way down to three. Um, unless you're gonna let me do all six.
SPEAKER_01You can do all six.
SPEAKER_03Okay. So uh the first character, one of the first characters that came to mind was Zaheer from Legend of Korra. Um I definitely align with a lot of his views, you know, minus some of the extremisms. I mean, I would probably take out a queen if I needed to. Um, but you know, uh, I definitely uh aligned with a lot of how he felt. Um second would be Spinel from Steven Universe. Um I heavily identified with the like the feelings of abandonment and the amount of the way in which he lashed out and the and um uh the level of resentment that she built up over all of that time. Um next would be Maximilian Pegasus on MBO um for very obvious reasons. Um a lot of the reasons he he pursued uh many of the things that he did um was to kind of make sure that he was able to get the love back that he had that he had, um as well as you know, accumulating accumulating a lot of power and the ability to read minds, um, and uh and as especially that um very childlike, uh jokish nature.
SPEAKER_02Of course. Um because what should I spin it like a top or roll along like a bowl?
SPEAKER_03You're welcome. Damn it, why did you do that to me? Um, he said that the other day, and I was laughing about it for like the next 10 minutes. Just that one line. Oh, because he trolled kind of so hard. Um number four would be Loki. Um, if anything, the Loki series showed me that I have a much closer tie to Loki than I initially realized um in terms of his character development and a lot of his reasoning behind things. Uh, number five would be um Agatha Harkness. Um just look seeing the the origins of in her the origins that she had in um in WandaVision, as well as how she went about um you know, figuring out what the hell was happening in Westview, um, seems very much um very much inside the realm of things that I would do, especially if I would um had powerful magic that I had accrued and acquired, even though I was allegedly not supposed to, but you know, knowledge is knowledge, so fuck off. Um that was five. Who's who's number six? Um number who's number six. Number six was um no, actually, I think that was it.
SPEAKER_02Five, five, five.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, five.
SPEAKER_02I hope that this question uh energized you because I have a very similar question that'll help you think even more. What show, or what is a show that represented your teenage years? Once again, what is a show that represented your teenage years? And since I started with Mosquittos before, I'm going to give it to Kaze Shinhu.
SPEAKER_04Um, there's probably a lot of correct answers here, but uh we uh you know we're we're we're going with something that's really gonna like you know the crystallize the values and ideas or something. Uh uh I'm uh I'm gonna go with uh uh Gundam Wing. What what uh Gundam Wing was like the the things I felt watching watching these emotionally unavailable of absurd uh absurdly like talented fucking teenagers act act out this this space drama. Uh and like and not and not just that, like it was the it was the character designs, it was the it was the mecha designs, it was one, it was one of the shows that like I mean this was always true, but this really cemented it, the just the idea of uh of an anime supremacy to to watch an episode of Gundam Wing and then go back and watch it in episodes of Transformers. It was like, I don't know why Americans think so highly of themselves.
SPEAKER_03How did you think what you were doing in the 80s was better than this?
SPEAKER_04At any stage. It was really like like why? Um uh uh yeah, yeah, the uh yeah, the little uh intersecting storylines, the the uh the layer politics that I probably that I didn't completely not that I didn't understand, but I probably didn't, I probably wasn't capable of putting together until I got a bit uh uh older, especially especially the overarch arcing uh like you know, like geo geo-like political message that Gundam uh generally likes to uh uh put put forth. Um yeah. Yeah, Gundam, got in the wing for me.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Uh the Black McCoy.
SPEAKER_03Um, I'm gonna kind of uh mimic um Kaze's uh sentiments from earlier about a broken recordness. Um I would definitely say The Legend of Korra is a show that mimics my teenage years. Um I see what you did there.
SPEAKER_02What uh just the fact that you always tell people that the reason why they don't like horror is because she was them growing up. She was yeah, she was them growing up, and they couldn't stand looking at the growth that they had to go through, the hardships that they potentially had to go through as a teenager or into adulthood that um that she did, and that's why they prefer Aang. I almost insulted all of that apologies. Uh insulted.
SPEAKER_03You almost got us and yourself canceled.
SPEAKER_02Uh Aang uh instead of Cora. But go ahead, sorry.
SPEAKER_03Um, but no, that that's actually one of my definitely one of my primary reasons why people I think people don't like uh Cora outside of the sexism and colorism. Um but um no, no, I absolutely think that just kind of the the a lot of the way in which she she, especially in season one throughout the other seasons of and how season one kind of informed the way in which she you know moved throughout the other seasons. She was a very gifted child and she was very protected for most of her life. And so when she finally got into having to be around other people in a very radical way, um she, you know, she experienced a lot of bumps along the way. She experienced a lot of failures, a lot of setbacks. She had to change her mind about a lot of things. Um, she experienced a lot of trauma. Um, and she had to unearth a lot of different things about her family, about the world that she didn't fully understand and didn't, you know, have uh knowledge of. And watching her navigate those things on top of, you know, as well as watching her kind of like navigate sexuality in the way that she did, like I look at my own life or my own teen years, and I experienced a lot of that in very similar ways outside of like the despotic rulers and shit like that. Um and but they were very representative of a lot of things that I had to go through, like season one, understanding notions of equality and like egalitarianism, but in a way that was sustainable, um, sustainable, and actually like acknowledging the dissonances between various classes, and then having to deal with aspects of spiritualism and like a lack thereof, and a dissonance from like a dissonance in that way in my own life, and kind of finding my own pathway away from that that area and looking at the more insidious aspects behind it. Um understanding like uh a deconstruction of the current societal structures in terms of season three and a much um more, a much more um heavy criticism of what it looks like for to have order and seeing the the diverse um I think the way part of the actually I I think like the the way in which the show progressed helped me further cement my love for not just the Avatar universe, but Legend of Korra because like I always loved the Fire Nation, even during Avatar Last Urban, I I loved the Fire Nation, not even just in because they had like this position of being quote unquote the villains, but just understanding that one of the things that Legend of Korra did was it completely deconstructed the trope of um you know the Fire Nation is the bad guy, and it's more so the the despots that come from different nations that um contribute to uh villainy and not the fire nation itself. Because one of the things I appreciate about Legend of Cora is that all of the villains came from different nations. Like we like sure, like the thing I think that's one of the drawbacks of Avatar is that the Fire Nation was the main focus, and so everyone saw it as the main big bad. But in Legend of Cora, we saw the earth, we saw the the problems of uh Earth Nation ideology taken to the extremes. We saw the problems of Water Nation ideology taken to the extremes, and we saw the problems of um, you know, very extremely radical and um um problematic airbender philosophy taken to its most extremes in a number of different ways. And although none of them were inherently bad in a way, but we got a chance to see that um the belief structures of those individuals as it relates to their, for all intents and purposes, cultural ideology as it is as it's associated with their bending, um, really helped me um kind of further understand, even past my teenage years, just what it meant to be a full, more rounded person and why Uncle Iroh was like one of the best is one of the best, if not the best character in the entire series. I think in most of cartoons, honestly. Yeah, most of cartoons.
SPEAKER_04Uh media.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, like I love Cora, I love Asami, I love Bolin and his crazy ass. I even love Saka and his corny ass jokes. But Uncle Iroh, Uncle Iroh was the crux of both of those shows. That's why he kicked, that's why he kept he stayed around in both series. Because he has so much to offer.
SPEAKER_04Right. I mean, really, like, I mean, most of these shows have like like of course, like parallels and lessons from the real to the real world, but but when but but like Iroh had that very literal, like the the uh like that uh Baptist patch pastor, like is a nigga like it was somebody tell the pastor my business, like the the the amount of real shit Iroh said, it was it really made no sense. It was uh it was it was he he he he really was like something else and like you know and not just the shit he said, but his you know his demeanor, his uh his his consistency of character, the uh the the the play the the the place the place he had in uh the very necessary play like like if Iro wasn't there, like I don't I don't know if Zuko could have would have made it. Like this I don't I don't think there was another like like if you replace him with another mentor character from another show, I don't think that would meant good enough because that was a fuck up.
SPEAKER_03I mean I I I'm sorry, go ahead. I was gonna say I just think that that just further cements how much I think Iroh was such a pivotal character just in the Avatar universe, period, because all of us needed an Uncle Iroh and we may not have had an Uncle Iroh, um, but we may have had someone who tried to be that. But Uncle Iroh was like the pinnacle of mentorship that literally everyone has needed.
SPEAKER_02I was actually just about to say that. No, no, no, no problem. It's just I I agree. Like just thinking about a lot of the scenes where, like, I even to this day, the scene where, although he was disappointed, the scene where Iro wouldn't talk to Zuko after you know he betrayed him, like still hurts because it's like it's a it's a lesson of you know, he had to figure it out on his own. And Iro understood that. Iro never stopped loving Zuko, Iroh never stopped wanting to teach Zuko, Iroh never stopped wanting to be that figure for Zuko, but he knew at that point the hand holding had to be stopped. The you know, walking side by side had to be stopped, he had to figure that next step out on his own. So when he was sitting in that jail cell, because he you know he had gone back to his father in Azula, it was like he didn't, he just was like, you'll figure it out. And then when he when Zuko finally figured it out and went back to him, that hug, wow. Yeah, just thinking about the hug just gives me like goosebumps now because it's it's it's it's that one, it's that I've talked about this before about you know how you know everybody wants some level of acknowledgement. It's that idea of I did the right thing, that praise that I learned a lesson that set has now set the pace for the rest of my life. And you saw it in me and talking about Iroh, you saw it in me. I just had to see it in me for my I had to see it myself, and uh I'm sorry. Anywho, uh Miss Kittles so.
SPEAKER_00Um this one was kind of difficult for me actually. I have so mine is a combination of uh two anime. So I've said this before previously. Um one of one another anime character that I um like as far as the whole show is concerned, I resonated with was Ken Kanaky from Tokyo Ghoul.
SPEAKER_03Right, Glad Silent A's not here.
SPEAKER_00Right. Well, I've already said this while she was on here, so it's I mean that's neither here nor there.
SPEAKER_03Um I'll say it for face.
SPEAKER_00So I res I resonate with um Ken because um he he kind of struggles with uh with with being he well not kind of he struggles with being a hybrid. Uh and and the whole time, you know, like constantly questioning himself about, you know, whether he's good or bad, and uh, you know, being a ghoul and human and trying to cling to humanity and things like that. So with me, uh as a teenager, I struggled with being a blurb. Um it was uh it was a side of me that not many people knew about and uh often desperately tried to hide it. Um and that's where this uh second anime comes in, and and that would be Tokyo Revengers. Um even though I shit on Takamichi all the time. No, no, she was beating ass. I shit on Takamichi all the time, but um because so in a way, in a way, I look at him and I kind of see me like, you know, like I kind of see that person who who so desperately like I was among groups of friends, and you know, we were never like trying hard to fit in, you know, or I mean at least I know they weren't for me every day, like for me every day, because not only I'm trying to hide, you know, that that really nerdy, geeky part of myself, but I'm also trying to fit in with them and I'm trying to fit in with you know the rest of the cool kids in school. So I I feel myself trying, you know, extra hard. Like Takamichi and his his group of friends, you know, they were they always wanted to be like bad asses, but Takamichi went the extra mile to be a part to be a part of this whole ass game, uh, to fit in, to, you know, to because I feel uh at the end of the day, it's just a way to prove to himself that you know he had purpose, that he was worth being who he was. So um, so that that's uh that's more or less what my my whole my teenage years, like trying to fit in in a crowd that I I honestly as an adult, now I know that I I didn't really even belong in, but it it was like this is how I survive because when I when I first moved here, well, not even when I first moved here, because in Fayetteville, they didn't they wasn't on that nerd shit either. So in in anywhere I was, I just didn't feel like I could be myself. And that's where you know going the extra mile to fit in places that I I I didn't need to fit in at because I I was I was outstanding already. But um, but I didn't know that as a teenager, so um, so that's why like I really feel like Takamichi's story is like one that resonates with me, and that's why I hate him so much. And then and then Mora syndrome, yes, and it's conicky like just just that whole struggle internally, like going back and forth with yourself, like this is who you are, but you know, do is that that is that the type of person you want to be?
SPEAKER_02Or yeah, so I was actually gonna ask, did you re referencing Kaniki, did you did you ever find a coffee shop? And uh you I know you get my reference. Like did you as a teenager, did you as a teenager?
SPEAKER_00No. Um when I my coffee shop. My coffee shop didn't come until I was an adult. Yeah, um I mean I I went to conventions, you know, by myself and started going to conventions by myself, but um, I guess I guess you could say that was my coffee shop.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um and at that point it was just like, well, you know, this is where I want to be.
SPEAKER_05Exactly.
SPEAKER_00You know, I want to be around, this is the things I want to do.
SPEAKER_02So I thought that. I felt that. Um okay, so I have two final questions where we wrap up this round, Robin. Uh it's been a lot, a lot slower than normal, and probably because we have less people, so there's more thought-provoking answers. Um, but uh second to last, because I really want to do this quest this other question last. So, second to last question, and this one is I feel like this might take y'all some time. We'll see. You can choose one Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh monster, or rave monster to be your stan persona or deck master. Who would it be? One more time. You can choose one Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh monster, or rave monster to be your stan persona or deck master. Not each, just you know, I'm using explanations of what those are. Uh, who would it be?
SPEAKER_00This is awesome. My I know.
SPEAKER_02Thank you. Uh let's see. I started with the black McCoy last time, and before that was Ms. Kittle. So, first would be no, I started with Kaze last time. So, yes, the Black McCoy.
SPEAKER_03Oh, you know, this is you, it's like you intentionally picked me first. No, I had not even intentionally, like serendipity just forced you to pick me first this time, knowing three of those major franchises, knowing yes, three out of four of those major franchises. Specifically, yep.
SPEAKER_02Um I'd have picked a four-form, but I was like, oh, maybe Joe T S D would be on or uh Shampoo Bracelet. So I was like, Oh, yeah, Rave Moss. Let me throw that in there too.
SPEAKER_03Well, I I it it's can we come back to me?
SPEAKER_02Sure, sure. Everybody gets one. Um, my second person was actually gonna be Miss Kittles. Um but cannot I'm trying to figure out how I want to ask this. So do evolutions count as a part of my my I think the best way to handle it would be uh outside because obviously Digimon can revert back to their lower forms. I would say in this particular situation, once they get to a certain level or a certain evolution, they stay that way. And it's kind of it goes along with your growth and the growth of your connection with that uh that entity. So if you have a Charmander and it turns into a Charizard, so be it. If you have a Charmander and it stays Charmander, you can do that as well. If you have a Gatsuman and it turns into an Anjawaman, and uh uh once it becomes Anjawaman, it stays Anjawaman, and you could keep it that way or go all the way up to Gaguyamon, so on and so forth. Okay, I think we've all seen how the the Yu-Gi-Oh! Oh, I think everybody's seen the Yu-Gi-Oh! deck masters. Uh, the at least a little small season filler arc with Noah's arc. Man, that's one of my favorites.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that happened in in the midst of Battle City.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. Was it based off of that, or did Battle City come first? No, no, it came that battle city.
SPEAKER_03Battle City came first, and then it happened in the middle of Battle City before.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's the offshoot when he kidnapped everybody. I remember.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Turned Tristan into a monkey. Granted, it's not accused of any use, but he was better than Teya. Yeah. Who? Um well, obviously not since he lost and he got turned into a monkey. Tristan lost to the judge man, right? I'm trying to give you our time while y'all are thinking. Um, I think it was the judge man. Anyway, uh, well, while Miss Skittles and the Black McCoy are still thinking.
SPEAKER_00This is hard.
SPEAKER_02Yes, I warned you. Um Kaze, do you happen to have an answer ready?
SPEAKER_04Um, yeah, I'm caught between two Pokemans. Two Pokemon.
SPEAKER_03Not the black parent pronunciation.
SPEAKER_04That's why I say your age of uh it's funny, it's funny you say black parent, because I used to uh when whenever I was over like a uh a friend's house, I I would say, I would say poke your mom. Oh my god. And like, you know, and they gave me like what the fuck you just say and I'm like poke your mom. And I and I'm like, see, peek at you, poke your mom.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_04And they're like, oh, okay, you know, they look at me like, oh, he little touch. Like, no, I'm just disrespectful. But yeah, no, I'm caught between uh Mew and Victini. So Mew, Mew has a lot of the uh was it like you know, personal was like part, it's like one of the first like legendaries that I really like, you know, like vibe with it was the um uh before before Pokemon came up with uh three more first Pokemon. What and what that meant. You know, now we got these chicken and the egg arguments, like what you know. But um but um but but I think at the core of it it was it's just the uh uh versatility. Like not only was Mew incredibly like uh powerful and and versatile, but it was the it was it was the it was the ability to to transform and like like you know, really with whatever you need. I get like I got you. And it wasn't and it wasn't just uh like like functionally in the game, it's ditto, but like the in the the in-game explanation was I have the gene, uh all the genes of of of Pokemon are in me, so like you know, so so I can I can turn whoever the fuck I want at any given time without them being in front of me. Um yeah, um and it's just uh and and I'll and I also love how like that was uh that despite that being true, mute, mute stayed being mute because like why would I want why would I badge bitch on my own? Right. Uh so yeah, mute uh uh uh also one of my favorite um one of my favorite like Pokemon just playthroughs was when I uh Game Shark Mew as my starter. Oh boy. And it was just fantastic, like it was it was incredibly easy, but it was the the game, but the game was just so different in so many different ways, and the and the things you could do, and and and beat beating the gym leader with his own Pokemon. It was just it was it was just lovely. But um, but you know, also uh Victini. I I really I really uh I really I really fuck with the Victini. I love the design. Um uh just the very uh uh millennium puzzleness of like uh oh we're gonna win. Well, okay what situation we in. Uh we we gonna we gonna get out of here. That's that's my power of beat beating niggas. Uh I can certainly relate to that. Um yeah, uh oh, and that nigga is like a a fission battery, that nigga has like infinite in energy for no reason. Um so uh yeah, no, I'm I'm gonna go with uh Victini.
SPEAKER_02Okay. You gave all that hype from you, and then you just went ahead to the other direction.
SPEAKER_04I said I was torn.
SPEAKER_02But I mean, but Mew can turn into Victini.
SPEAKER_04Uh yeah, yeah, but but it's kind of like if I if if I was spending most of my time at something else, I might as well beat that something else.
SPEAKER_02Fair enough. Okay, all right, Miss Gittles, we have returned to you.
SPEAKER_00Um so so mine was mine was uh between Mew and um uh Flareon. Oh, but uh Kaze made some very good points about it. Yes, yes, so Mew it is off of Kaze's amazing points and the black book.
SPEAKER_03So uh as this was uh very difficult for me, so I ended up um coming to a couple of conclusions. Uh one, I had to like trust my gut, and I I have different answers for each of these, which is why I kind of hope I was kind of hoping that it was going to be like, oh, what's one for each? Um but so I actually strayed farther away from Pokemon and Digimon. Um, Pokemon was the easiest answer. Digimon took a little bit of deliberation, but was you know also difficult. But Yu-Gi-Oh was the most difficult because there's so many creatures that I could have picked. Um, one of my first inclinations was to go with one of the Egyptian gods, um, most notably Slifer. Um, Slifer's my favorite Egyptian guy. I don't know why, I don't know, but Slifer is just one of my favorite Egyptian gods. And I was like, no. Then I was like, okay, Dark Magician, but no, Dark Magician is great and is a great card archetype, but not like my not the card itself that I would pick to kind of represent me. And then I thought, well, Palladium Oracle Mahad, which is you know, Mahad being the name of like the actual um basically right hand man, the right-hand man, the magician who taught uh uh Atem, the Pharaoh, um, and who was you know always at his side, being the card that was the person who's actually the dark magician, I mean has his own card. I'm like, yeah, but Mahad, although basically the dark magician himself in the original form of the dark magician, was just not doing it for me. So I thought about the other card archetypes that I know. Um I thought about Dark Eradicator Warlock, and I'm like, okay, well, no, Dark Eradicator Warlock is great, but still like not enough. And like I did always love the Dark Magician of Chaos, but then I forgot about the um there is a fusion card. Um I think it's Dark Magician of Chaos Max or Chaos Max Magician or something of that, something of that nature. Um which is like uh and then there's the it's it's weird, because then there's uh another ritual monster, the magician of chaos. But I but what while ultimately is the the the dark the mag the black magician of chaos. Um just because that card uh definitely elicited a lot of amazing feelings from me. Um well the the ritual card itself is the magician of black chaos, but it's interesting that the regular card of it is the dark magician of chaos, where they're basically the same, they're essentially kind of the same monster, but in different uh card generations. The Dark Magician of Chaos has a much better effect that I think that I've always loved a lot more. And um the I remember when Yugi or the Pharaoh used it in his duel with Pegasus, like there was there have not been many other like card or monster reveals that have hit me that elicited the same amount of emotion from me than that card reveal in that first season. Um so the Dark Magician of Chaos would be my answer. Um, I love the design, I love the power that it represents, I love everything about it and its effect. Um uh like it was it was amazing, and I think that it absolutely represents the amount of chaos and order that I simultaneously like to embody. So, yeah, that would be the one that I would pick. What a balance. What a twist!
SPEAKER_02All right, we are down to our final round, Robin Succi Norture question. And it's funny, I actually based this off of a meme that I I've on accident been watching a lot lately. It's actually not a meme, it's actually a TikTok. Um, so uh excuse me for saying it this way, but you're gonna have to answer this question to the best of your ability, knee jerk. Uh, we're gonna start with uh Kaze Shinryu. No, he just went left. Okay, so we're gonna start with Miss Kittles, then Kaze Shinryu, then the black McCoy. Actually, no, it's gonna be Miss Kittles, then the black McCoy, then Kaze Shinryyu. That's gonna be the order. You ready? Here's the question we don't talk about fight club, we don't talk about Bruno, and you don't talk about what? Miss Skittles. Let me know if you would like me to do it again.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so that first of all, that I wasn't ready for the delivery at all. So over here, like, excuse me. But now now I have to think, okay, what who who we got talking about? Who do I get upset with? Who gets my blood boy lane? Like so, okay. So it's like, it's like because I I want to answer this correctly. We don't so we don't talk about fight club, it's more like, oh, because it's like uh that's our shit type thing, like don't talk about fight club because it's our shit. And then there's like we don't talk about Bruno because like that's bad shit, don't talk about Bruno. And then so we don't talk about is it is it good shit or bad shit? Like, is it my shit that you don't talk about, or we don't talk about it because that's shit?
SPEAKER_02It's shit you don't talk about and you don't talk about with people.
SPEAKER_00It's shit I don't talk about and I don't talk about with people? But it's my shit.
SPEAKER_02Your shit.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay, okay. Okay that's what I was trying to figure out. My shit. Okay, why did I go first? My shit.
SPEAKER_01Well you supposed to go first last time, but then you deferred.
SPEAKER_00Leo's like, I don't know. I feel like honestly, yeah, because I be seeing like even little comments online. I'll be I'll be quick. I be like, uh, who the fuck is this? I be ready to delete niggas like this. Hey, I be ready to delete niggas, they be they be quick. Oh, I I was involved with a Leo. They ain't nothing but a uh oh, they ain't nothing but a what? I be ready to delete niggas over that. Like, is it somebody real do I talk to them? Do I need them around? Because they sound real biased right now, and I don't I don't like it at all. Like some skills and talk about them. Oh, I know Leo that play around. Oh, who is it? Because it ain't me. No games are being played. I'm not interested. I can do that. So what's the problem? Next. Yeah, we don't I will read somebody for Philip. Do not talk about Leo.
SPEAKER_02So we don't talk about Fire Club, we don't talk about Bruno, and you won't talk about Leo's around the skittles.
SPEAKER_03Period. Period. The black before end up like star, real famous.
SPEAKER_02Trifling.
SPEAKER_00I got a hot talking about it like something.
SPEAKER_05Oh Jesus.
SPEAKER_03The black book. Oh, we don't talk about fight club. We don't talk about Bruno. What else don't we talk about?
SPEAKER_02So you could say we don't talk about Fight Club. We don't talk about Bruno. And I don't talk about what?
SPEAKER_03We don't talk about Fight Club. We don't talk about Bruno. And I don't talk about how wishy-washy the nerd community is when it comes to their ethics, even though they don't have any understanding of logic or morals overall to begin with. That got really musical at the end.
SPEAKER_05Okay, okay.
SPEAKER_02Brilliant. All right, Kazay, it's your turn. We don't talk about fight club, we don't talk about Bruno, and you don't talk about what?
SPEAKER_04Uh see, I feel like this is uh um it's a very unfair question for me because I'm a it's all up for grabs. Yeah, like if if you know me, like I'm an open I'm I'm pretty much an open book. Like, you know, like I mean the book the book is is is is is behind uh uh you know a magical door and stuck in the under an invisible panel in the cellar. But after you get to the book, like you know, it's like you know some of the some of the some of the ink is invisible.
SPEAKER_03But much like your friend there. I'm an open book. The pages are blank though.
SPEAKER_04I was like, yeah, you didn't do the side quest.
SPEAKER_03I didn't exactly I'm an open book, it's written in a dead language. Like you said you were educated.
SPEAKER_05I'm I'm confused.
SPEAKER_04Um so uh so yeah, so that's uh I mean that's why I said uh uh unfair it's very anything I'm not anything I'm not talking about, I is uh you would have to tell me like what what what is something you bring up and or or it's talked about and I just don't talk, I don't know. Because far as far as I know, I'll I I'll talk about most things. Um Evie, yeah, especially I mean, I probably talk about things I don't like more than things I like.
SPEAKER_02That's very true. That's actually what you do. So you should probably talk about the things you like.
SPEAKER_04I mean, very specifically, I talk about the things I don't like about the things I like. That that is like almost which is bad because it gets it gets a lot of heat, and I'm like, no, they're doing it wrong.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But um, yeah, I don't this this this is actually the first time I've seen him like not be able to answer a question easily.
SPEAKER_00I don't I don't know I don't know you wanna hear Yeah um I I mean I don't know I'll uh I don't know if if it feel if it feels like a cop out but I'm gonna go with uh uh uh I'm I'm gonna go with uh thrown out food.
SPEAKER_04I don't I don't wanna hear it. Don't mention it. Don't don't hurt me like that. Like like it's like I got I got a whole bag in a refrigerator.
SPEAKER_03Like this is this is Wow, I heard whole bag in the refrigerator and I was like, I didn't know that's where we kept that. I mean, you know, you gotta keep the materials fresh. So I mean then what else to do that outside of the cold? Wow.
SPEAKER_04We know we're not Green Lantern bitches. That is oh my god, what are you what? Um icebox. I forget, I forget the word, but uh yeah, they set one of the Green Lantern's girlfriends in the in the in the freezer that one time. They did. Um, but yeah, yeah, nope. I hate uh actually I hate I hate the wasting of anything, but but food is one of the things close closest to my heart.
SPEAKER_02So you don't like actually you you you don't talk about you don't verbalize as much as you should how much you hate when people waste things, uh including food, your time, your patience. Uh uh actually, let's go into that. That's actually probably what you don't talk about, which you probably should. When people waste your time saying they can play video games and they can't, that pisses you off. Um see, see, look at your face. Yep, there it is.
SPEAKER_01Oh man. Um see your blood is boiling, just like the Skittles was a couple seconds ago. You just got three flashbacks.
SPEAKER_04Right, right. It's uh I mean I I mean part part of the reason it's not talked about because it's really because it down in my heart of hearts. I know, you know, I know I'm probably elitist and that's a me problem. Um and you know, that's a that's an unfair expectation to port on people. So it's it's it's less it is uh you know, it's it's it's like it's not I'm I'm not mad, I'm not mad at them. I'm just I'm just disappointed. It's kind of like you know, it's kind of it's kind of like you uh uh what's what's that shit you put in a river and you like kind of and you kind of sift through uh looking trying to catch like is it just a sifter? That's what I thought it was. Uh yeah, like you know, like yeah, you don't you know you you you don't get mad at like one block of water just because it didn't give you nothing. Is this this like you know, when you get something, you get something. And it's kind of you know, so it's just kind of like you know what you know what you what you want and expect is something very specific. And it's kind of like uh yeah, that I I I'll say what I do get mad is people people who uh peep people who uh hype themselves up and talk shit. That's that I'll I'll say that's true. That's a good one.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_04But but that's something I'll talk about. So I I mean, I probably won't say all the things to them because I don't want to hurt their feelings.
SPEAKER_02Uh yes, because the one word you do use tends to do all the job it needs to.
SPEAKER_04Uh yeah, right. They'll just get everything off about they'll they'll just get stuff off my the my face.
SPEAKER_02And that's it's wow. See, this is this is why I'm glad we sometimes don't do videos because the descriptions on all of our panelists' faces like it's just it's too much. It's like I'm guilty of it too. I ain't gonna lie.
SPEAKER_00That's why it's fine. You just see the faces of there, you be like, ooh.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. We're memeable. We keep talking about it. We uh that's the danger. There is the danger.
SPEAKER_02Okay, well, that is our technically our March round robin. The Suchino Torture is now officially closed. For this time, uh, it will be back. Uh, I want to thank our panelists for being with us because they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Look at their faces, look at their happy, smiling faces. Um, we want to thank you all for being with us this uh lovely March as we move on to the next month and the next collection and assortment of podcast episodes. Uh, there's a lot of anime coming out in our spring uh time of seasons. A lot of actually a lot of studios had to uh postpone a lot of their episodes these last couple of weeks.
SPEAKER_00Ridiculous amount.
SPEAKER_02So um, you know, we're getting ready. Everybody's trying to catch up. We're trying to do our anime review really soon, so be ready for that. But not only is it review, we're getting ready to crank up the expectations for the next season of anime. Now, we already had an anime review at the top of the year, but of course, there's a bunch of new anime that are about to come out, like actually about to come out next. Um, and a little bit of news that we heard about a several anime that we thought were gonna have seasons that are gonna be turned into movies. So be expected for that episode. Uh, thank you for participating and listening to this one. Uh, so first, of course, I have to tell you how to reach each and every one of us. Uh, of course, starting with the podcast. That is the Blurred Spectrum Podcast, Blurred Spectrum on Instagram, excuse me, Instagram and Facebook, and then uh the Blurred Spectrum on pod um I said on podcast, on Twitter. Uh, you can listen to us where uh you wherever you listen to podcasts, uh Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, etc. Um, you can also reach out to us via our mail bag, which is the blurred spectrum at umbralstark.com. Um, and then of course you can reach me, Suchi no shogun at Suchi underscore no underscore shogun on IG, uh, or blurred creations, uh either blurredcreations.com or blurred creation shop on Facebook or Blurred Creations on Instagram, uh, TikTok, and Twitter. Miss Skittles.
SPEAKER_00Um, you can reach me at Ms. Skittles T R underscore Cosplay on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. And on Twitter is M-I-Z Skittles2K02 sauce.
SPEAKER_01Uh the Black McCoy.
SPEAKER_03You can find me at the Black McCoy on Instagram and the Black McCoy Cosplay on Facebook. You can also find me at not black by choice on Instagram. You can also find me at not black by choice on Facebook. And if you feel in extra queer, you can find me at you can find me and my merchandise at uh not blackbychoice.com. And if you need any extra services and stuff like that, keep an eye on our website. We have some of those things coming up going a little like little uh words are difficult today. Um, that will become that will become available to you relatively soon.
SPEAKER_02Awesome sauce. Um lastly, I actually want to talk about this in another episode. So I'm not about to start the conversation right now, but I just found out uh the other day with uh Kaze Shinyu that some uh hackers are actually taking uh certain people's uh profiles on Instagram and Facebook and creating new profiles that are duplicates and faking as if those people are creating OnlyFans. Because I thought it was just one person, but then I found out it happened to five other people, Kaze. And uh it's kind of weird. Like it's uh it's very weird. Why would you just go and tell somebody that somebody's starting OnlyFans? But if you click the link, I I didn't click it, but I found out through an article. If you click the link, it takes you to a page that starts copying any data that's on your phone or on your computer. So it's an actual hack. Now, I'm not trying to give any cybersecurity, uh um cybersecurity advice, but look out for that. Uh they are preying on the people who are sexy and they're trying to they are trying to get you to uh uh uh click the link. So if you see Miss Skittles uh has uh OnlyFans, you can go ahead and just know that's not true because she already done said she ain't doing it.
SPEAKER_04And that makes a lot of sense because uh in a similar thing, someone caught someone uh someone made a copy of my dad's my dad's uh Facebook account. Whoa. And then that and then that copy account uh started ask asking me about a uh, hey, did you sign up for this such and such? And and I had to go and I was like, it's not like a scam. Let me look up such and such. And and such and such was uh uh was uh was actually some some government uh actual thing that uh that gives money to people, but they give money to businesses as like grants as a grant or whatever. So it was like, so yeah, if somebody's talking about this thing giving you you personal money, they are lying. And I'm like, oh, oh my fault. And then I finally, and then I went and found my dad's real account where he was sent, you know, sending me a bunch of Bible verses and stuff, and I'm like, Yeah, like you know, and that just makes a lot of sense. Like, why why go to the trouble of hacking somebody if you can just copy their profile picture and put the same he it had the exact same name as my dad's account, yep.
SPEAKER_02So it's like, yeah, I mean, and if you think about it, Facebook is its account itself. There are probably a billion of John Smiths in the world, right? Well, limited a billion, but there's a lot of John Smiths in the US, Jan, Jane Smith's, and so on and so forth. So Facebook doesn't prevent you from having the same name as long as you can prove, which really isn't much of a proof, it's pretty much just putting an email address and a name. Instagram, on the other hand, because each handle is different, you could just put like an extra underscore, like for example, Miss Skittles uh uh TR, if somebody was to put RT and you ain't paying attention, then it's like, oh, that's still Miss Skittles. So you have to make sure you pay attention. Like, for example, Miss Skittles got like several hundred thousand followers. So, because of that, if you see a profile that says Miss Skittles and it only has like one follower, that ain't her, you know, she pop it out here. So, yes, uh, I don't know why, but I just felt like I needed to share that. So keep a lookout and make sure you keep yourself safe and your profiles locked because there's too many people posting things about the fact that they're they got hacked. So, anyway, uh other than that, have a good morrow. Sayonada. Adios.
SPEAKER_04Bye bye.
