Welcome back to the Blurred Spectrum Podcast. We are here today to give you an episode that actually changes the way we look at episodes. Why is that? It's because I was we had another one planned and I messed up the calendar, so we actually have to change the way we look at the episode because it's a completely different episode of the topic. So this time we bring to you one of the best episodes known to Blurred Spectrum Dumb, which is the Suchino Shogun inspired, the uh uh uh Dr. Rebecca Quinzel hating, the Sayone Seidine, uh the Miss Skittle, why are you doing that again? Type of episode. It is the round. Uh, the episode where I take the control. I don't have the wheel, you know, that belongs to Jesus. But I still control the vehicle in which we ride, in which I'm gonna give to you these panelists before me questions that are going to tantalize their senses, make them question their inner morals, uh, uh, make them decide whether or not they want to ride on the dark side. Yes, so today I have wonderful panelists with me today. Uh, I would say it's Lady's night, but I'm not a lady, so um I'm just your moderator, Suchino Shogun. Uh, but with me today, I have Miss Skittles.
SPEAKER_06Hello, everyone.
SPEAKER_01I have the Lady of the Day and Night, Sayane Cosplay. Hello. And I have the she's but she's between Miss B's boobs, so I don't know, I don't know how to feel. Uh, but Dr. Rebecca Quintale. Hello. Um, so today, oh, before I get started, uh, Sayane cosplay, are we are are you gonna surprise us with a look today or are you chilling today?
SPEAKER_05You know I'm gonna surprise a little song, you know.
SPEAKER_01She always does this, and she waits until I'm in mid-thought, and then I lose my train of thought. But whatever, it's fine, it's cool.
SPEAKER_05That's my spontaneity, you know what I'm saying? My my uh fake uh Aries cusp, um, you know, uh, you know, dark energy.
SPEAKER_01So I love it. Um, so uh, like I said, Ron Robin, uh, I I throw out random questions to each of our panelists. Uh this time, as I told them before we started, complete unscripted spontaneity. I have I have written questions. I've well, I would say I threw them out the window, but I just didn't open the Word document. So it's complete spontaneous thoughts that come into my mind, which my mind is a very fanciful yet dark place filled with imagination and structure, organization and discord, chaos and order. So we're gonna go ahead and get I'm dying over here.
SPEAKER_02All I'm doing is shaking my head, like what the hell?
SPEAKER_05I'm telling you, it's that toxic Aries birthday energy. This nigga got what the fuck is going on?
SPEAKER_07Oh gosh.
SPEAKER_01Gonna go ahead and get started. This is a very, very easy question for the ladies to answer because obviously only ladies can answer it. What is the what is the one thing that a guide said to you that caused you to instantly be turned off? And we are going to start with Sayone cosplay. Um instantly turned off.
SPEAKER_05I have two. So there was this guy from high school, and he was always like awkward, whatever, but he was sweet. And then we met up in the grocery store, and you know, he looked all different, all tatted up and whatnot. He still was a goofy as shit, but you know, you know, I was like, okay. So can I have your number? I'm like, sure, why not? I usually don't fuck with people in high school, but I was like, sure, why not? So when he texted me, I was telling we were, I guess we're trying to get to know each other, and I was just kind of playing around with it. And he was like, you know, uh, tell me about your best friend. And I was like, Well, my best friend is a guy. And you know, if that's a problem, then like I was like, I don't, I don't see a problem with a guy being a best friend. We know a lot of people that are insecure, they're like, Oh, I can't have you fucking with no nigga. Um, he was like, Well, I can't date a girl that has a guy's best friend. I said, Oh, not a problem, honey. Block. And I was like, No, that that turned me the fuck off. So I'm like, sweetheart, he was here before you, baby, and he will be after you. Who the f you? So that's a quick block. Quick block. The second one was um a play partner, and this was like in the beginning stages, and he was like, I don't eat pussy. Not a problem. Not a problem, not a problem. I say the nerd. So yeah, I'm like, sweetheart, in the 21st century, niggas only pussy. Not a problem, not a problem. Bless you. Have a wonderful day. Yeah, no, so there's tips. There's still people that don't like give oral sex, and I understand if like maybe it's just not your thing, but you're not gonna have me perform on you and you no, absolutely not. I was like, so you tell me I'm gonna put my mouth wet, and you ain't gonna do it, you just gonna be laid back. My nigga, no. No, no, no, no. This is this is a transactional affection.
SPEAKER_06I don't understand how you can be into play things and not do it. I just I don't understand. I don't get it.
SPEAKER_05There's a lot of greedy lovers out here, and I think we all know that. Um, where they just want to receive, receive, receive, and they don't like to reciprocate. And that's not a problem. You can be a pillow princess, but not with me.
SPEAKER_03I I the bitch, so pillow princess.
SPEAKER_06I like that. I'm I'm saving that one.
SPEAKER_01Please rock that away.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Okay, Miss Skittles. What is what is something that uh that a guy, specifically a guy, said to you that turned you off instantly?
SPEAKER_06So I feel like I feel like this is like a common question among women, but um what do I bring to the table? Oh I don't I don't like the question one because I feel I feel like you're like especially we're just like meeting or just starting out, you know, breaking for each other. No, I don't expect you to ask me what my favorite color is, but don't ask me about like like my bank account either. Because please know, please know I am doing well for myself, okay? For myself, keyword myself now. Um, if I decide to allow you to be part of my life, then you will already know what I bring to the table. But as of right now, I'm just trying to decide whether or not I want to continue talking to you for consecutive dates. So, what do I bring to the table? I don't like that question, especially when you're like in the beginning stages of dating. Like, if that's a first date question, I'm sorry, but it's it's it's not a second, or it might not even be a finished this conversation. I might tell you thank you for the drink. I gotta go.
SPEAKER_05But yeah, wow. Do people actually ask that? Like, I've been seeing posts around social media of people saying, like, these are first date questions, like, what do you bring to the table? And I've seen on both sides people ask that, you know, regardless of gender. And I just find it's such a very intruding fucking question to ask.
SPEAKER_06Intruding, it's so intruding. It it's it's very like like this the assumption there that I am going to one keep you around long enough for you to be a part of that, like that deep into my life is is is wild to me. Like, like just like men don't like women assuming like uh they're about to get married because they start dating. I don't need you in my pockets either. I don't need you, you know, worried about what I'm doing and what you know how how you can be a part of that or you know what I just don't like it. I don't like it. I don't I can't describe it like the feeling of like, ooh, like who are you?
SPEAKER_01That's an interesting simul uh similarity, the the you know question regarding uh the the assumption regarding you know men's not assumption, sorry, men feeling as though women should not be assuming that oh we're gonna get married and da-da-da-da, and this is gonna happen. It hearing it like that actually seems very similar to the so what do you bring to the table? Because it's like, well, for me to bring something to the table, that means you see longevity. So or be asking about longevity, then why why would I be looking at marriage? You know, it's kind of on the at least that's what it sounds like to me. That's actually very simple.
SPEAKER_06No, that's I think it's exactly that. Um, and I feel like a lot of you know women in general get like chastised for that because a lot of Hindu, they you know, they see a man like, ooh, never can, you know, we oh shit, we did it when we were younger. Oh, you know, so and so my boyfriend and UNM notebook, you know, and now you got that man's last name and hearts around it. So I feel like it's something as a society that we have like like just taken on it as something that's supposed to happen. Um but in the same mindset when a man is asking those types of questions, like, oh I you know, I got you know, I gotta find out, you know, what her pot, like is she gonna is she gonna go half on the like shit like that? Like, so why are you worried about all of this stuff if if you if your plans are just to fuck me at the end of night?
SPEAKER_05I agree. I feel like the I feel like dating is not fun anymore. And I don't know, and I'm not a person that really dated casually, but when I did, it was just I'm just here to date, eat eat food, you know, and be taken home. And that was just kind of like, you know, just something to go out and do with someone that's more than a friend. But it's like I feel like that courting, you know, just to go out and have fun and eat, you know, just to kind of find, you know, like find out similarities. I feel like that's lost. I don't know if that's more so because our generation in particular, we are getting married older if that's what we want to do. And I feel like, you know, yeah, if at all. And you know, the dynamic of relationships are are changing and being much more progressive. Um, so I feel like, you know, we are we we don't we're in our 30s now, so I understand. Like, listen, I'm not here to play these games because you know, in our 20s, we we've gone through a lot of bullshit. So I understand, but even still, you can still have tact, you know what I'm saying? Like you can still have conversations and get and get to know each other. And these are and these are both on the masculine and feminine gender speaking. Um, you know, because I've seen both arguments to like, well, I need to know what he brings to the table. No, you fucking don't. You can have a conversation, you can have a conversation or I need to know what she brings to the table. Talk to someone, get to know them. Why don't you first see like if they're compati if you're compatible with one with one another?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, don't be worried about what I got. Like do we do we mesh like emotionally, mentally? Like, are you look are you even physically attracted to me?
SPEAKER_07Let's start with Facebook.
SPEAKER_06Let's start with surface level shit. Like, you already digging shit that I don't talk about with my therapist yet.
SPEAKER_05So like get real intimate with you on levels that shit, you don't even want to get intimate with yet.
SPEAKER_03So I'm like, come on now.
SPEAKER_06Right. A counter question, like a good uh question that that if if you are thinking, oh, what do you bring to the table? How about uh where do you see yourself in a year? Where do you see yourself in five years? That allows you to get like a you know an idea of where this person is at and what they're looking to do, versus what's already like what you got going on now, right? Like you what you doing now? Like what kind of driving now, okay?
SPEAKER_05But that's the tact, you know. I'm saying, like, you can you can get your answer by finding out other ways to ask. Like, what are your goals and aspirations? Where do you see yourself? What it what is your dream? And you can you can hear a lot and get to know a lot about someone when you hear their dreams and aspirations, and a lot of times you might be very surprised. I remember I had a cover conversation with my brother. I was like, you know, if you could redo life again or if you could find another path, what would you want to do? He's like, I want horses. I'm like, shit, nigga, you know you want horses, nigga. Like, you know what I'm saying? You know, so it's just very you just ask questions. Ask these are questions, these are things that we've we've been told to do in elementary school. And I feel like people just really lost that art of conversation.
SPEAKER_01Um yeah, so that's the key.
SPEAKER_04They weren't paying attention, they weren't paying attention, Dr.
SPEAKER_01Rebecca Quinzel. What is something that a guy has said to you or asked you that instantly turned you off?
SPEAKER_02I I've been sitting over here thinking about this question, and I'm like, damn, I've been out of the game for so long. I'm not thinking.
SPEAKER_01Um, and now I'm just I got a couple in my hand, but go ahead.
SPEAKER_02Jesus, this this sounds stressful. Um hold on, let me think. Probably a guy talking to me about their dick size. I think that was the biggest turnoff for me. I'm sorry, like you, if you hyping it up, it's probably about like this. So we don't need to just keep hyping it. Like, I don't I didn't understand why you were doing that in the first place. I I'm not over here talking about, oh yeah, it's extra wet and the walls is tight. Like, I'm not doing that to you. So I I would appreciate you not trying to give me a picture, a mental picture of your dick size.
SPEAKER_01I mean, better than he not sending it all.
SPEAKER_02No, I've had someone send me a dick pic, and I was sitting over here like, what is this? Like, literally, it was a guy at work and he was older than me. Oh, and like I was, mind you, I was at home minding my business, I was actually off, and I get a dick pic sent to my phone. And you you know me to like just crack up in laughter. Um, so yeah, I literally immediately started laughing.
SPEAKER_01Oh no.
SPEAKER_02And then I I showed one of my coworkers when I got to work, and she started laughing.
SPEAKER_01Oh no.
SPEAKER_02So yeah, like don't don't do that. And he was another one when saying that you were talking about eating coochie, he was like, he doesn't do that because you know, he don't want the uh the fluid all in his mouth. And I'm like, so what do you mean what do you mean? You I don't think that's avoidable. What black huh?
SPEAKER_05So does he not eat food?
SPEAKER_06Like, you know, this is nutrients in that fluid, sir. Right.
SPEAKER_02So so yeah, like I yeah, mm. There's another person that did that to me, and I had to laugh in his face. There's nothing like an unsolicited dick pic, man. Really, like didn't it ask for it? Just randomly laying in the bed and my phone go off. I know. Uh nothing like it.
SPEAKER_03Nothing like it.
SPEAKER_05I agree with you, Domo. There that there's more Dr. Quinzel, there's nothing more frustrating than getting getting a picture, a sexual picture when you're not in the mood. It's like you're doing something, you'd be brushing your hair, fucking eating Skittles and shit. Oh, there's a ball.
SPEAKER_02In that order, right, like why? Why did you send me this? I didn't even respond.
SPEAKER_03I just was like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_01Lost into the ether. All right. That was that was a roller coaster. Didn't expect that question to go in all those different ways. I didn't do this. All right, question two. Are you ready? Oh, okay. Me. So if you could pick one celebrity to spend the next 30 minutes trapped in a room with, and you both had to make it out alive.
SPEAKER_03Wait, this guy. That's not where this question is going, but alright. I didn't want this to go this way.
SPEAKER_01Whom is the most heinous hated celebrity that you could survive 30 minutes in a room with?
SPEAKER_05I was about to have a name. I know a name, but I don't know.
SPEAKER_02You ain't gotta be a celebrity I hate.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_02Oh, what the fuck? Oh, okay, I got it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, Dr. Quinzel.
SPEAKER_02Ryan Reynolds.
SPEAKER_01Oh bananas. So bananas.
SPEAKER_02He said three for me. Right? Not forgiving him for that. So you believe this?
SPEAKER_06I'm all the actors. You hate Ryan Reynolds?
SPEAKER_02That is not bad. Don't get me wrong. I don't hate him as much as I hate Ben Affleck, but I felt like that one would be more triggering.
SPEAKER_05Nicki Minaj for me. Mm-mm.
SPEAKER_01Oh. And you'd make it out the room.
SPEAKER_05Jesus. Oh god. If I if I just put my headphones on, I can't hear a call.
SPEAKER_01Nope. Nothing but you two in the room.
SPEAKER_05For a half hour, man?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna make it out the room.
SPEAKER_05Mm-hmm. So, like, what do we do? Like, are we are we like captured and we have to figure out how to get out? Like, what is the give paint us a picture of the situation?
SPEAKER_01Oh, you want oh, you want you want a theme now? Okay. Oh, we'll start with Nikki Minow. Sayone arrives at the theater, not alone with a group of individuals. She walks into the backstage. Why? Because she's a VIP member. She's being celebrated as cosplayer of the year. Oh my god, stop. She enters the back room, the green room to be exact. They tell her 15 minutes before she goes on stage. She arrives inside of the room, the lights go off. She's not scared, just more befuddled. Then the door opens. It shuts. The lights flash on. And she's face to face with Nicki Minaj in her exact same cosplay.
SPEAKER_07What happened?
SPEAKER_01To avoid confrontation, Sayone heads for the door, tries to open it. Nothing. The door knob falls off. No windows in the room. No s floor plates. The only way out is a vent. Or to wait until her 15 to 30 minutes is up and somebody comes and gets them.
SPEAKER_05Not a problem. I strip naked, I get the fuck out the bed. Leave that bitch.
SPEAKER_07No. Is that bad?
SPEAKER_05I'm quick on my feet now. I'm like, you know what? Not a problem. I'll strip butt naked and go butt a ball naked and go through that vent. I wanna dive in that bitch. No, thank you.
SPEAKER_01So we have Brian Vettels, we have Dicky Badaj, Miss Skittles. 30 minutes.
SPEAKER_06Some hate?
SPEAKER_05That's such a strong word. Hate. It is. I don't hate her nigga. I just don't like her. She's very annoying.
SPEAKER_06I'm trying to think of uh a celebrity that like I'm really just annoyed by.
SPEAKER_01Uh have you finished your feud of Meg the Stallion?
SPEAKER_06See, so I don't hate Meg.
SPEAKER_01That's why I said to finish your feud of her.
SPEAKER_06I I don't have a feud with her. I just don't entirely believe her. Her fandom of anime. I'm not so old. I just the anime. Is it the anime?
SPEAKER_01It was the anime.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Um, who was somebody? Who is somebody?
SPEAKER_07Somebody.
SPEAKER_06I just feel like I have oh okay. Um we have to make it out. Like, okay, so we have to make it out. This this is not a scenario where I need their skill set, right? Nope.
SPEAKER_01If you prefer, I can give you a whole entire story.
SPEAKER_06I'm good. Uh as long as I don't need skill set, um, Kim Kardashian. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01Wait, wait, wait. How did you choose her and diss her at the same time?
SPEAKER_03I don't need a skill set, right?
SPEAKER_01I don't I I don't need her skill set. I don't need to do it. I don't I don't need her to do anything. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_06That was giving me the most struggle. Like it was like, okay, if I have to make it out alive with somebody I hate, who who can I use to take advantage? But if I don't need none of her shit, then absolutely uh Kim, easy.
SPEAKER_01I mean, you could step on her ass to get through the roof.
SPEAKER_06And then the whole thing would be out the window.
SPEAKER_01Ooh, first off, there are no windows. Secondly, no, not puncture it.
SPEAKER_02I just cannot. Uh I mean, male, her ass look more stable than Nikki's.
SPEAKER_06Well, if him got a whole lot of real money, so there's wait, how you gonna now shade Nikki now?
SPEAKER_01Wait a minute. You know what? Let's keep going because I I don't need a barb on this guy podcast. No, thank you. All right.
SPEAKER_02You asked the question I asked. You gotta be quiet though, huh?
SPEAKER_01Next question. Buy, destroy, or steal. I want you to name three objects that you would buy, destroy, or steal. Here's the caveat. These have to be objects owned by you. Buy, destroy, or steal.
SPEAKER_06I was on mute. What? What?
SPEAKER_01Look around you in your homestead and pick three objects that you would buy, destroy, or steal.
SPEAKER_02Well, clearly, I already bought it, so I gotta buy it again.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, I've taken it.
SPEAKER_02Oh god.
SPEAKER_06Wait, what? You taking my object and now I gotta buy it back to me.
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna steal my own shit. Like I'm trying to do it.
SPEAKER_01Taking everything inside of your house.
SPEAKER_04I'm stealing back the laptop.
SPEAKER_01Stealing back the laptop. I'm about to say, because I know it's worth the laptops.
SPEAKER_06Well, I'm oh go ahead. Y'all go. Can we just say it? Because I'm definitely buying back my whole computer because that's how I make a memory. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Makes sense.
SPEAKER_06How about to do?
unknownGive me my okay.
SPEAKER_05Steal. What am I stealing? I'm stealing my damn money. Shit. I would destroy my bedroom set. I've had this bedroom set since I was like a teenager. And I would like literally put an axe to it because it's old.
SPEAKER_02So I would destroy my couch.
SPEAKER_07Oh I like that.
SPEAKER_06My couch too because I bought this couch under the impression that it was gonna be different than it was when it arrived. And it is my least favorite thing in the house. What don't you like about it? Um, well, first of all, it's not comfortable. Like it like it's it's a modern design, and that's what I wanted because my old couch was like this big, clunky, giant thing. It was beautiful.
SPEAKER_07I like the old couch.
SPEAKER_06Big red. That was my big red. So I I thought I would I would go on Wayfair and get something more sleek and modern. This bitch is uncomfortable.
SPEAKER_01Wayfair don't got what you you need.
SPEAKER_06No, not all. I need a real furniture store, okay? This shit is uncomfortable. One of the legs in the back is already janky. Um I've only had this shit for uh like a year, if that uh I bought a couch from Wayfair.
SPEAKER_02Only reason why we threw it away is because it had to stay in storage, and Mark was like, nah, you might somebody might be living in there. Um but uh yeah, but it was comfortable. I got like that big fluffy couch I had, uh Suchi and Crofton, that black one.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yeah. Oh, that's the one. Oh, that's why it's not there. Oh, that's sad.
SPEAKER_06This one ain't this ain't it. I would destroy it. I don't like it.
SPEAKER_02Um, I'm gonna buy back the computer, which includes the drawing tablet, otherwise, we would have no creations.
SPEAKER_05What about you, Suchi? You asked me the question. I would I want to know what the hell you're gonna destroy.
SPEAKER_01What would I destroy? Hmm. Oh there's a there's a few things that I decided to keep that I that I wouldn't mind still destroying in a fire pit.
SPEAKER_06Really?
SPEAKER_05Oh that sounds like malice.
SPEAKER_06If we steal something that has multiple pieces to it, do we get all the pieces or do we get part of the the the thing?
SPEAKER_01Well, you bought back your entire computer set, so you could steal an entire set of things, yes.
SPEAKER_06Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So my PS4. Okay, which you will not do is deprive of video games and streaming.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you're gonna have a you can have a nigga private a PS4, a computer, and that's it.
SPEAKER_06Uh yes, yes, okay, yes.
SPEAKER_01I love it. I love it. Um sorry that you said you were gonna steal back your laptop. You're gonna destroy your bed. What are you gonna buy?
SPEAKER_05I'm gonna buy my my um body paint. I spent too much fucking money on it.
SPEAKER_01But you're gonna spend money on it again?
SPEAKER_05I would, because you know, it always goes away.
SPEAKER_01So I'm gonna I'll buy and then uh uh uh Dr. Twin, you said you were going to destroy your couch, buy back the computer and not buy back, steal back the computer and the drawing tablet. What are you gonna buy back?
SPEAKER_02My entire figure collection, because that shit costs way too much money. Absolutely not.
SPEAKER_01I'm surprised that this skill is over here like that. I'm about to say her figure collection, her pop collection is is obscene, and she just let that go to the ghost.
SPEAKER_06And then I can make money to buy the pop.
SPEAKER_01But you can make money to buy a PS5 though.
SPEAKER_05It ain't the same, it ain't the same.
SPEAKER_03I need something to get through the times, okay? I need something to get through.
SPEAKER_02But but okay, so you could have played computer games on the computer though. No, it's not the same.
SPEAKER_06I'm not a PC gamer, that shit don't hit the same, okay?
SPEAKER_02I can't tell a shimmy be that. You don't understand. I'm like, it don't hit the same.
SPEAKER_05What are they clicking? Up down, up, down keys with the computer games?
SPEAKER_06Like, no, the only thing I can play on the computer is sins, okay?
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. The stress on your face.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I need I need my I need my PlayStation, okay? I just I need it, it's it's gonna get me through.
SPEAKER_01See, see, y'all were doubting this question before. Y'all was like, this is a stupid question. I saw all of your faces, and now now you stressing the fuck out.
SPEAKER_06Oh man. I pops though, I did.
SPEAKER_01I just said this.
SPEAKER_06I'm looking at all of them now.
SPEAKER_01All of them, like it's like three quarters of your house.
SPEAKER_06I feel like all of them are looking at me like bitch, you gonna let you gonna let the babies go?
SPEAKER_01Damn, I see Bobby.
SPEAKER_03Don't give me that look.
SPEAKER_05Go ahead and with your ridiculous ass questions. I know this is the start of the bullshit. Go on now.
SPEAKER_01Correct, all right. Okay, we're gonna we're gonna bring it down to a more spiritual level. All right, everybody. Let's all close our eyes.
SPEAKER_00Breathe in, breathe out.
SPEAKER_01Ready for the next question?
SPEAKER_02You see us all looking at you with one eye open, right? I do actually.
SPEAKER_05I was singing numb your ho ring a kill with my magic in my hand.
SPEAKER_01The question is, if you, this is this is gonna be a little spicy, but it is down to earth. If you could choose to switch religions, your entire religious or your entire belief. And I'm talking from the ground level, like back when you were a child, if you could change what your parents instilled in you religiously, what would you switch to? If would you switch at all? And we'll start with Miss Kittles.
SPEAKER_06Easy, easy, because I did switch on my own. So if I could go back to the beginning, I would switch to Buddhaism.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06I want, I want, I want to be there from the beginning. Okay. All the details, and I just want to continue that.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Dr. Quinn.
SPEAKER_02It's funny because that was actually on my mind the same thing, like, but I haven't like done enough extensive research. Like, I can say, oh, I want them Janae Eiko and Kaylani vibes, how they just be chill all the time. Uh with the sound bowls and everything. Like, you know, like I need harmony and peace.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Well, I mean, the same way that you know Miss Kittles was able to change from what she was instilled, you could start with Buddhism. Maybe it's now for you when you change.
SPEAKER_02So, um, yeah, so so it would probably be the same thing. I probably would start from the beginning for Buddhism because it just seems like from the little bits that I've seen, it's a lot calmer and less judgmental.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Hey. Um, so yeah.
SPEAKER_05That's an easy one. Definitely um going back to my roots and paying homage and worshiping my Yoruba pantheon for sure. Yeah, absolutely. Um, for sure. Just learning Yeah, because I actually I started to not really look like very deep, but just to become more educated because I never was educated growing up about it, um, and just learning more about Shango and Oya and Um Yimoja or Yamea or Shun. There's so many, so many different principalities to um Orisha that is actually very pertinent to life now and always been. So it's just very good to just kind of keep those those principles and just a way of life. Even how the beginning of the Yoruba pantheon started was very, very interesting. And um, I definitely would would gravitate more towards that. My ancestors definitely, even still, I would say, even though I have a Christian background, I still pay homage to my ancestors, but I do feel very protected by my ancestors.
SPEAKER_01That's part of the reason why they were so easily. Well, yeah, that's part of the reason why they were so easily um convinced, convinced to uh switch to Roman Catholicism slash Christianity. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I mean, don't don't say watch it now, watch it now.
SPEAKER_01You don't want to buy talking to you now.
SPEAKER_06I do, I I absolutely do enjoy like Greek mythology and their pantheon, but the when I say us, the the us people pantheon.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the us people pantheon.
SPEAKER_06Yes, the uh black, yes, absolutely. Is that that's that's uh like every everybody black, that's us, okay? I don't care like I don't care what you're talking about, okay? But um I absolutely uh I absolutely love that. Like, yes, they're it's they're um it shit. I it well I wasn't a uh I was an adult when I found out there was other pantheons besides like Greek and Roman like mythology. I'm like, yo, what? It was like oh there are black gods, yeah. So I couldn't I couldn't I couldn't believe it. Like what like who? Right well nobody told me about this. Like, oh yes, I'm I'm I'm here for it. I love it.
SPEAKER_01All right, I think we're think we're enjoying ourselves. Is that a good cooldown? See, see, y'all enjoyed that one, uh-huh. Judging my question. Right.
SPEAKER_06I'm gonna say I feel like the next one is about to be on some other shit, okay?
SPEAKER_01Never on some other shit.
SPEAKER_05This is this is even the dimples, the dimples is always the death fucking giveaway that shit's about to happen. Go on now. I'm waiting, I'm waiting.
SPEAKER_01All right.
SPEAKER_06Why are we pausing?
SPEAKER_01No, no, I was breathing.
SPEAKER_06Anyway, so I'm concerned, okay?
SPEAKER_01I promise you, there is no no chaos, no chaotic vibes. It's pure purity. You must get rid of one heart network.
SPEAKER_06Alright, fucking up.
SPEAKER_01Nickelodeon. Those are the two.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that's easy. You're getting rid of those networks, all the things that came with them, correct?
SPEAKER_01Correct.
SPEAKER_05Nickelodeon. That's what a factory boys and instinct to me. Nickelodeon. Easy. Done.
SPEAKER_01Not so easy for the other two.
SPEAKER_02Oh, sorry. Because Nickelodeon is like my Rugrats, my Hey Arnold, my um Rocky Power.
SPEAKER_06The 90s, you know, the 90s cartoons.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, oh good.
SPEAKER_01Everything that came along with it.
SPEAKER_07Hmm.
SPEAKER_05I'm so sorry that this is hard for y'all. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_06No, so it's it's it's hard in a sense that before Cartoon Network, it was Nickelodeon. Or before Cartoon Network came in with the fire.
SPEAKER_07With the fire.
SPEAKER_06They did come in with fire. Um, all we had was Nickelodeon. And Nickelodeon is is like when I say childhood for me, it's like, but like I think about dad and and how the beginnings of me becoming a blur. So without so without Nickelodeon, I'd have even started watching Cartoon Network. But Tunami. Toonami, Miss Kittle? Yes, Tunami, but again, the start. Yeah, what I what if I had made it to Toonami? Because by the time Cartoon Network came out, my parents were divorced. Oh shit, okay. Yeah, so she's like, okay, okay. Yeah, I was living with my mom, um, and she's not into she's not into cartoons and anime and things like that. I mean, she's very supportive of it now, because that's what I'm into, but prior to that, yeah, I wouldn't have made it, I wouldn't have made it to tsunami. Um, and and so that's why this is hard for me because it's like tsunami, tsunami definitely got me into anime.
SPEAKER_07Sure.
SPEAKER_06Um cartoon number got me into anime, but would I have even made it to anime without cartoons? That's the part that's difficult.
SPEAKER_05So I have a question for you, Miss Skittles. What type of person do you think you would have been if you never were exposed to cartoons until like a later age? Do you think that you probably wouldn't even like anime at all if it wasn't for Nickelodeon being that kind of catalyst to like cartoons?
SPEAKER_06I think I would definitely be a casual. I think I would probably be one of these people that only I wouldn't say only got into anime because of um like celebrities or how it is nowadays. Like nowadays, I feel like a lot of kids are into anime because it's more mainstream, and I feel like might not have got into it and and been comfortable with it until like the last couple of years, because that's what it built like. The last I would say the last five to ten years, anime has become more mainstream, so it's like, oh, you know, I would be one of those people that their first anime is like I'm not even gonna say not a joke. If that was my first anime, I'd probably be like, no, bitch. That's not for me. That's not for me. But um, I I yeah, I think I would want to I would be one of those people who would have if I would have gotten into it, it would, it would be I would be one of these, I don't even want to call them names like this, but I would be a I'm um you know a my hero first timer or uh uh uh demon slayer demon slayer first timer or something like that. Um and I probably probably would have continued heavy into video games. Um so yeah, I don't I don't I don't know if I would be an anime head, honestly. If it wasn't for a cartoon, I don't think I would be into anime that much.
SPEAKER_05I can understand how that's very difficult, because that basically made you who you are today. So I think you already had your answer with with Nickelodeon for sure.
SPEAKER_06You're right, actually. So yeah, I'm gonna say I'm gonna go with Nickelodeon. Okay. Oh no, no, you said that gotta go. It gotta go.
SPEAKER_01No, no, you said Cartoon Network would have to go, and you would have to pick Nickelodeon.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02I'm I'm picking and then Dr.
SPEAKER_01Quinn, did you make a decision?
SPEAKER_02I think so. I think so. Cartoon Network gonna have to go.
SPEAKER_01Okay. All right, and then you know you said Nickelodeon.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely.
SPEAKER_07Unquestionable without a doubt. Without a doubt.
SPEAKER_02No, no hesitation.
SPEAKER_04I actually thought about that question for a while, too. For like three years. So it's just so funny how you brought it up.
SPEAKER_01Hey, this is what I do. This is what the round robin's all about. It's bringing the the subconscious and the unconscious to the conscious. All right.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that was different illusion. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Here's another question for you. Recently, I was uh uh introduced to a uh podcast that uh specifically has a bunch of what uh Miss Gittles would call normies uh on, and they were talking, one of their topics uh that they brought on was about their issue with with what you were just talking about, which is anime and what they call Japanese cartoons uh becoming mainstream. And their issue specifically is was with uh because there was a lot of women on the podcast, uh, I believe there's only two guys. Um, maybe four women. Um, and their issue was pretty much in being introduced or or or meeting guys for the first time or second time, and seeing on their Instagram, seeing in their house, whatever stage they met them at, and it's full of these cartoons, as they called them. Um, and how it's not going back to your original question about something that a guy said to you that turned you off completely, they said that these cartoons were an absolute deal breaker. Get a job, do something for real were some of their comments. Um, so my question is what do you say to a person? Because I I'm sure I know for a fact that there are guys out there who aren't into anime who or who are into anime who see women who are into anime and say you're just doing it for the cloud. So, in general, what uh uh hey, hey, we're not going into that. No, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that to you, Miss Gibbs. I'm sorry. Uh, but the original question is what do you say? Let's stick with the women then. The original question is, what do you say to a woman who, and whether she's dating a trying to date a woman or trying to date a man or trying to date non-binary, what do you say to that woman who says that that deal breaker for her is no cartoons, no anime, uh, even no video games. Get a job, do something else. What what what do you say to that woman? And I'll go with Miss Skittles last. We'll start because she's choking on the on the venom she's about to spew. We're we're gonna start with Dr. Uh Rebecca Quinn. What is what is your response?
SPEAKER_02That's two sides of a coin for me, Miss Kitty.
SPEAKER_01Isn't it?
SPEAKER_02Um, okay, so easiest way for me to do this. Like, Shammy B, we were we were friends for a long time, but I didn't know how deep the rabbit hole of his nerdom went.
SPEAKER_07Yep.
SPEAKER_02Um, but I'm not controlling. So I instead of being like, why are you doing that? You should really stop that, you need to grow up, whatever, those types of negative connotations, instead, I put myself into his world when he got back home from the military. So it was more so of me trying to learn and understand why you do what you do or why you watch what you watch versus me automatically no, put the childish or quote unquote childish things away. It's time to be an adult. I don't think any person that puts on their drawings the same way I do should dictate to me or anybody else what they should and should not be doing. How about you take the time and step back and actually understand? Because that could be their stress reliever, or that could be like how Miss Kittle said it was a connection to her childhood. That that could be the reason. Like you just you just don't know. So it's just like if you're doing something that they don't like, do you feel like they have the same right to tell you to stop it? I'm pretty sure you wouldn't feel that way. So I I don't that that's a controlling aspect, and also can probably leave you alone at the same time.
SPEAKER_01Uh Sayone, do you have anything to say to said women?
SPEAKER_05It's giving red flags energy, to be honest. Um, because that's very it's funny, it's very immature to actually think that way. And that's the funny thing about it. Everybody has their own vice. You have people who watch Telenova, you have people who watch Days of Our Lives, you have people who watch, which I can't fucking stand. I hate reality TV shows. And for me, it's like in my head, people who love to feed off of watching drama must have drama in their life, or they love to, but that's just my bias because I can't stand, I deal with enough drama in my past. I don't want to watch drama, so I watch anime or I watch, you know, sci-fi things to kind of separate myself away from reality. So I could easily say people who watch um, you know, reality shows is is a is a red flag for me and I can't deal with them. But uh that's unfair and idiotic for me. Everybody has their own things that they watch, that they listen to. That's like saying you're not gonna you're not gonna fuck with someone that listens to rap. That's their preference, that's their likes. So it's it's very immature to think that way. It's very tone-deaf as well. If it's a turnoff for you, that's fine. But the second part is get a job. Might nigga, there's people that are millionaires who who obviously are very successful, and BB, it's it's it's it's given negative $50 in your account energy, and I am with it.
SPEAKER_02So look at an actor like Henry Cavell. Like, he's very into the nerdum, still making money. He can put his own computer together, you go walk up to him and tell him to go get a job. Like, what?
SPEAKER_05And not saying, like, it's like don't get me wrong, it is not saying that you know we all have financial issues, you know. I'm saying, like at a point in our in our in our life, so that's no disregard to people who are struggling, but like for you to be saying, like, oh, I can't you need to get a job, maybe they're probably more successful than you. That's just something that they just want to do for themselves, and it's giving little dick energy. You know what I'm saying? I just don't like that mentality is just very, very stupid to me. And it's very toxic. I'm very curious on what the fuck they what they what do they watch? And I know what they watch is probably no different when it comes to easing them and calming them versus like what their partner wants to watch. No, I would say throw throw that person away and get somebody else, throw, throw the whole person away.
SPEAKER_02Throw away because you need to find somebody that's gonna accept you for you. So you're coming already to the table with all these stipulations on what you want me to do and not do. Bye. Trash, trash bag. Sorry. I ain't with it.
SPEAKER_01Okay, I think we're I think we're ready to uh open up the can now. So um get ready to taste the rainbow miss Skittles. Uh what what is your response to these ladies?
SPEAKER_06Just want to say this is why. This is why I fuck with both of these bitches on this giving it, they serving me a lot the the energy that I'm I am about to give you. Okay, first of all, bitch, which you not about to look and and and I feel like it definitely goes both ways because I know I know women do it a lot. Men don't seem to care too much. If I had a nigga walk in my house right now, I'd be like, damn, bitch, why you probably got that box and and fucking cartoon posters everywhere. And I'd be like, because that's what I'm into, bitch. Like, what is the problem? But uh for these women who are not giving men a chance, and uh there's a caveat, there's a disclaimer to to men in our community, but I'm not gonna I'm not gonna go there. Um I'm gonna strictly stay on the positive path, and the positive path is if you are strictly like stopping any type of conversation or possibly dating these men because they play video games or they collect you know pops or whatever. Please, please do your research, bitch. First of all, half of these half of these uh figures out here that these niggas is collecting is 500, 200, a thousand dollars, bitch. Who don't got a job? Who don't got a job? Make it make sense for one. Let's make it make sense. Like if you did any and if you did any type of research, if you walked in this man's house and you he got half bus of fucking uh Iron Man, bitch, I guarantee you that shit costs like 20 grand. So what is your right now? Like make it make sense. Oh, all you do is play video games. Do is it all he does play video games? That's because during his downtime and he's choosing to kind of spend it with you outside of his fucking job, he wants to play a goddamn video game. What does it matter? You when you want your downtime, you go you go spend $300 and get your nails done, bitch. Like like I just I just cannot with that mentality, like like uh Sayone said, is it's super red flag energy, is is not it's dry desert pussy energy, like and and another thing that she brought up is like half of these bitches love fucking they love they love reality TV show. They they can tell me about every housewife, uh, the details of every Kardashian bitch uh down to when she got her pussy regener like regen dated. Like I just I who they dating at this second shit like that, I can't. I don't I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. Like and and I and I that nigga don't care. Um you could you could you can talk about that shit all day and he'd be like mm-hmm yeah mm-hmm babe and play his video game yeah mm-hmm that's yeah right but um I just I just cannot it it's it's it's um and and like you said there are celebrities out here we got we got Michael B. Jordan claiming uh you know his nerd and we got Meg the Stallion claiming he's her her nerdom and these are all people who are making millions of dollars you're listening to their music daily like you're watching their movies daily like uh nigga like you literally went to go see a Marvel movie the other day like what is you talking about like none of it makes sense none of it makes sense to me and then on top of that if you took like like um Dr.
SPEAKER_05Cozell said if you took the time to step into their shoes to if you're literally and generally getting to know this person you're gonna take a moment and be like let me let me see what this is about for them let me let me let me you know check out this anime yeah oh what you watching babe like because a lot of anime are not for children and you will find that out very quickly if you take a fucking moment okay you don't look around the house like oh my god he got toys laying around bitch that's not a toy because if you touch it I guarantee you'll right out for murder somewhere that man gonna be on the goddamn news because you done touched a $20,000 bus okay so so why you out here talking about get a job bitch what in your house can you afford that is twenty thousand dollars and it's just sitting there looking pretty fucking pretty and you know I wanted to piggyback off of Miss Skittles a lot of the a lot of the busts and the figurines are investments same way how these hoes got fucking Pandora pen bracelets on one arm and shit how that's money and how that's kind of seen as like a a way of wealth is the same thing with these busts and these figurines this shit is not cheap it's not like you're going to Poise R Us and getting 20 dollar fucking figurines like this shit is at least starting 99 800 800 on on Brazilian hair bitch that's let's let's not get the red bottom shoes and the Tesla bags and everything else come on now and these are these are things that you can sell like if times are hard maybe people are auctioning this shit off a off of eBay for thousands of dollars thousands of dollars and I remember that um a friend of mine said you know of course it's always good to have money but it's always good to actually have a jewelry that's like a very precious like um like a ruby or or emerald yeah that you hold that you hold on to because if something happens like let's say God forbid like your house burns down or whatever you can use that you can pawn that off and that's money to help you that's actually something that you have in your hand that you can use to kind of help you as like a a financial back backup plan. So these figurines all this is actually a fortune that you could use people will keep their first editions of comic books and save this motherfucker and and pass it on to their other children and children's children be like do not fuck this up this is money and like these first editions can be sold for $5000 easily so it's amazing how people will talk shit about about oh you know that anime or all these these video games people are keeping shit from like Atari if they try to sell that stuff now thousands of dollars so you know people really need to stop being so ignorant and really learn and you be like shit like my nigga that's money oh let me help you win that right right comics oh why you why you why you still looking at comic but that's so childish bitch do you know how much this comic would cost do you know how much I can sell this bitch for it's more than your whole entire fucking house dog it's like you talking shit about stuff you don't understand because you haven't yet taken the time to understand it you just see it as something being childish no you're childish for having that mentality exactly toxic taxi big and if everybody anyone anyone male female nonvirant if you are if you are having this problem it's if you met somebody and they walk into your house and they give you like the same things like oh my god I hear you got too many like that's crazy um just kick them to the curb uh immediately like that's not that person I don't care how bad that bitch is matter of fact matter of fact actually no that's really toxic I'm I'm not gonna say I want you to say it I just we're we're amongst friends go ahead and say I want to know okay well fuck that bitch and kick her ass out like I mean if they fuckable fuck them and keep it moving my friends okay because it is sometimes it just be the bad one it be the bad ones with that styky ass red ass flag ass mentality just I give it like I call it the cheerleader and jock effect and that's what it gives me you know because we all know that the ones that was coolest and the biggest freaks were the nerves you feel me and it was always the the cheerleaders and the jocks not saying all but in general that were like oh my god you know stereotype the stereot exactly the stereotypical cheerleader and jock energy and that's exactly what it's given it's giving bully and it's always grown ass people like you would you always expect that from like children but it's actually grown adults that have this type of mentality it's very very strange very strange but these same ones that'll spend thousands of dollars to go see fucking Beyonce and they don't have no money in the account no problem preach fucking preach guys preach spending thousands of dollars to see Beyonce and you and you in a and you in a seat that you can't even see her ass in I'm contemplating giving away my left kidney for this Beyonce ticket I'm like really mortgage this month but guess what I'm gonna see Beyonce not at all not at all oh the beehive by the cumbrus for y'all nope I didn't say nothing damn thing um yeah no but I I what I was going to say though uh that I think you guys made excellent points I I didn't expect I did um didn't expect the conversation to go in this direction because I was actually thinking I after saying the question I was thinking about one um TikTok uh of this like white dude he's like sitting on the couch and he's playing some game on either Xbox I think it was on Xbox and the girlfriend walks into the room and she like walks towards the Xbox and she's pressing the pop the power button he's like no no stop and then she turns it off he throws the controller down and she's like this is like what did she say?
SPEAKER_01She's like this is all you do like why he's like this is not all I do he's like she's like why is this all you do it's all I have like that I felt that like it hurt like the way he said it there was angst in that and I was like and the the the problem with that meme or the the I'm sorry the video real is there's there's a large population of people not gonna say women just people who don't get it and their initial reaction to it is that's trifling like how like what about her what about her feelings why can't you do stuff with her why can't you like da da da and it's like it's it's it the problem with it and it miss Skittles commented on it or stated it is it's that man's relaxation that relaxation point everybody has their own activity their own uh uh uh like I I call it the wind down you whether it's off work whether it's out of school whether it's do after dealing with the kids they gonna sleep there is something that you do that takes you from a hundred at least down to 30 something that you whether it's cooking whether it's gaming whether it's watching anime whether it's sewing you could be shopping on Amazon or HG uh what is it HGC H H H T V what is that called HGC HGTV it's been a while um you could be shopping on like you could be doing a you could be buying stuff in Wayfair what whatever your window thing is if you got the got if you got the guap go ahead and do it that's see and there she goes don't uh it says don't be sad don't be a menace how about that some guys uh you know whatever your wind down is I mean your window could be watching videos of Sayone putting on body paint maybe that's your wind down at the end of the day for some people I'm sure it is um but whatever it is like you you can't be upset with that person's choice you you can't say I've always I've always I've always despised when people try to use like this general like this generalized view of things this universal view of things like even when people used to say you know old people say you know there's nothing new under the sun nah fuck that shit things are different for every person things are different for every generation things are different now way more than they were before and that's why y'all are also upset about things being so different is because y'all are still in the same mindset that things aren't supposed to change and everybody is different everybody has their own choice. If I like and some some days I don't keep I don't do the same thing. Some days I want to play video games to wind down some days I want to watch anime to window some days I want to take a glass of milk and and and and dip chips of hoy and Oreo into them and eat them just to calm myself down. Hey don't look at me like that Dr. Quinn shit that that's my window dammit sometimes that's what I want to do and you can't you you cannot poo poo somebody else's means of bringing themselves down maybe maybe it's not with you their significant other maybe you're a part of what's got them wound up ever thought of that you know allow that person like you know some people are quote unquote stuck at the hip and they're always together you know they live together they work together they you know ever together some everybody needs a moment to themselves not because you're a uh what's that thing called uh in uh introvert not because you don't love that person but everybody needs a moment to themselves to be able to refind themselves it could be after a day it could be after a week after a month after a year everybody has to refocus and find themselves again first of all what you're describing is called codependency healthy and a relationship okay everybody needs their space okay everybody needs a moment to themselves I don't care how much you love somebody I don't care if you want to be in their shirt when they walk out the door to go to work or in their skin we see you people too that's a little strange but you you and that person you while you might not feel like you need your individual space that person needs their individual space most likely because you the one that don't need your individual space and in reality you actually do so um that codependen is a red flag so be careful right and again and and again we're not here you know well none of us are yeah none of us are therapists I had to make sure I check the room real quick uh none of us are therapists uh so we're not telling you you know you know go leave your first insignificant other to go find yourself because that's the answer in the key to your relationship now we're not saying that we're just saying as people who've experienced things as people who know people as people who've been in this world as long as we have one of the things that we've realized is that you cannot be uh you cannot be up under the same person or people in general actually let me change that you cannot be up under people all the time even your kids do not need to be up under you ever wonder why you'd be in the same room with your child and you'd be oh my god my child, my son, my daughter And then they leave the room because they tired of being up under you. They gotta leave the room too. You gotta everybody, even your pets. You got these fur babies, you be hugging them, touching them, kicking them out the struggle, all the time, and then they leave the room. Especially synonymous that shit have to be the first one to be like, all right, bitch. It's time.
SPEAKER_02You can be sleep. You're like, all right, I'm out.
SPEAKER_05And you know, Suchi, I wanted to touch base and with um Miss Skittles about codependency. Sometimes we don't know how to love responsibly, and we might have never actually seen what responsible love is. I had to definitely learn that when I was um in my first relationship because I didn't really have like a good base on what like love is supposed to be growing up. And so I thought my first relationship in my in my 20s, I thought that I'm always supposed to be there because I'm, you know, I'm I'm always supposed to make sure someone is okay. I'm always supposed to make sure that they do what they're supposed to do. And this shit was very fucking draining. And then what ends up happening is that I saw, you know, the person I was with every single day. And it was like I was with that person the whole entire day. And you start to lose yourself. You start to then forget like what do you like? Who are you? Then your whole life ends up becoming this person. And like like Miss Skittle said, you start to lose yourself. Even if you want to be there, you have to start making sure you find space for yourself. And that coddling, that codependency is some we don't even know that we're even doing it a lot of times. So I just knew that when I ended that relationship, things had to change. I have like, okay, well, what what didn't work? And then I had to basically be completely comfortable with letting people do their own thing. And it was very nice. So, like with my current relationship, you know, it's long distance, but I'm like, have fun, go have fun. Have fun. Um, you know, uh just make, you know, just like, hey, I don't even I don't even really need you to like text me the entire night, just like, hey, hang out with friends, talk later. Hi, talk to you later. And that's that's it. That's really all that you need, you know, just to make sure that they're safe, make sure that they're good. And if you if you know they need you, they can contact you or whatever, and then find something to do, find a hobby. You'll be okay.
SPEAKER_01Um oh my god, find a hobby. I'm I'm guilty of that, my damn self. Like I'm in the midst of trying to figure out a long distance something or other uh relationship, and I don't you look at me like that. And my thought process, stop it. My thought process is trying to it's it's the same thing. I'm same thing, Syone. Like, go have fun, go out and do something, you know. I miss you too, etc. But then my issue though, on on this end of the spectrum, um, is being able to, like you said, find that hobby. Like, I've been gaming, anime watching, working on businesses, editing, all this is what I do on a normal basis. So it's now that's all not surface level, but that's like if if if if the scale is 100% of me, that's all the normal 50% that always happens. What am I doing the other 50%? Staring at a wall. Because I'm like, I need to you you have to figure out what's next. You have to figure out how to entertain yourself. That's that's always why I'm always looking at the next thing. Oh, what can we do next? Hey, Dr. Quinn, what's the next design? Well, what do I need to be working on? Hey, Miss Skittles, uh, you you want you know, work on some figures, you work on some numbers, you want to work on some stuff? Hey, Cyon A, you want to work on some body paint? You wanna like that's why it's because after the 50% is full, and I'm already doing all these other things, I'm like, what the hell am I supposed to do with the rest of this goddamn thing? Sit your ass down and do nothing.
SPEAKER_05Sit your ass down and do nothing down. It literally is okay to not do anything, like people need to be okay with not doing shit. Like last yesterday was the first time I'm always so used to doing something on the weekends. I'm like, I ain't gonna do shit. I just sat in bed and I just watched Netflix, and I ate my cake from the Amish market, and it was very nice. I put my phone on do not disturb. I'm like, oh, this is great, I like this. You know, you have to you have to mentally detox for yourself, and you're constantly gonna have your cup filling over because you are helping and catering to other people, but not to yourself, and that's a habit you have to work on. No one can do that but you um with love because if you don't, you're going to mentally break down, even like, oh my god, I don't know.
SPEAKER_02You sound like somebody else has said the same thing. I know you didn't think we done said it, Adam said it. First of all, I don't know what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_05Um it ain't about you. This is a general sense. But I'm getting but really you have to just I remember I was going to the store and Columbia has a lot of fucking geeks. I don't know why there's so many geeks, and I'm like, oh, I want to bring a bag of bread and just feed geeks, you know, just some do old lady shit. Just feel you know, but just to do something by yourself, even if it's to hop in the car and drive around and listen to music. Like, just it doesn't have to be anything fantastical. It can just be like, I just want to hop in the car. Let me look at a mansions, let me look at something, let me see what bakery I can go to. I have bakery dates by myself all the time, and it's the most peaceful fucking experience.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, I'm taking it. Columbia, Ala God City, Baltimore have like a shit ton of beautiful bakeries.
SPEAKER_05Then go. Go. And you don't need us either. You can you can go your home. You can't it's a do the things for yourself.
SPEAKER_01We'll work on that. We'll pin that to the tap board for now. All right, now, last and final question before we end off this round robin episode. I hope you're ready. This is the uh this is the piece to resistance, is the uh question you've all been waiting for.
SPEAKER_00This is the uh most tantalizing, most fluid uh, most voice.
SPEAKER_07Oh, that's my favorite word. Look at the side of his face.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. So is that what you do? Is that what you scream when they go, what's my favorite word? Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_06I love I first of all, I love it. I love it because it it it's it's like it's like cringy for people. I think that I think that's why I love it. But it also very well describes multiple things. Multiple things like we can talk about everything from cake to bookly, so I'm just saying everything in between, literally. Yes, and but people also be like, ooh, what is I don't know, I don't know. I don't know if I want it. I love it, I love it.
SPEAKER_01I'm sorry. No problem, you're good, you're good, you're good. She just went into a tangent on the voice. It's alright, it's alright. Okay, the question. Now, each of you have had your own life experiences that have brought you to this particular stage in your lives. Whether it's blurdom, whether it's UALism, whether it's body painting and dismsms. Each of you have done your own things that have caused you to be at the platforms in which you are now. Utilizing said platforms, what is the one thing that you feel you would want your current platforms to teach your younger selves?
SPEAKER_05Teach me or teach them?
SPEAKER_01Teach your younger self, younger shenanigans.
SPEAKER_05My current platforms, as in like Facebook, Instagram, or my or our followers.
SPEAKER_01No, no, your current platforms and see, see, it's funny because I I can see the look on your face. Mosquito sees where I'm at, and I know Dr. Quinn is avoiding it completely. You're once again ignoring your celebrity. You, ma'am, are an individual that influences people in the things that they do. And because uh see, there's that face again, and because of said influence, you've caused people to make certain purchases, follow their dreams, become cosplayers, cosplay in a different way. Okay. You did not see yourself doing this several decades ago, several, a few decades ago. But at the stage you are in your life currently, not only are you able to do something you enjoy doing, you're also at another stage of your sexual fluidity, if you will, in terms of how you can embrace yourself, embrace other people, and embrace the things that you love. Okay, now I want you in this question to tell me what would you, the current Sione cosplay, tell little Nigerian Jamaican Chine who is mentally oppressed, shaded by certain family members, doing what she's supposed to be doing in school, but still feeling a certain type of way when she gets back home. What would your current self tell that little girl? There you go.
SPEAKER_05Conversation to have with my therapists, actually. Oh wow, that I'm worthy is a big one for me. I suffer from imposter syndrome all my life, no matter what I do. Um, no matter what compliments or accolades that are given, I constantly battle with I am not enough. Even when I reach a certain goal, I always feel like I am always behind and I'm I'm always in a game of catching up and I can never I can see the gate and I never actually touch it. And that is something that I definitely struggled. Um, self-conscious, um, self-esteem issues, self-confidence, self-worth. That has been a extra. And I would, I I wish I could hug my younger self and just let her know that she is beautiful, she's worthy, and she doesn't need anybody to validate her worth. Um, it's emotional because I still I still very much deal with that currently. I'm a better version of myself than I was in my 20s. Uh thank goodness to the people that were in my life, like really the family you keep or the friends that you pick. So if it wasn't for them, I don't if it wasn't for them, I you wouldn't see this here. Um, I might not even have been here, like on this plane. So um I just wish I could just like go back in time and just like hug her and just like just give her all the love and affection and the the validation for myself to let her know that she's worth it and she's worthy and she's important, and also that she's actually on this this earth for a reason. And um, again, you know, you it gets better with time with with the work, but it is still a big trouble.
SPEAKER_01Dr. Quentin, to be sure.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, children, you know, everyday life. Um that's a hard one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I know. Thank you.
SPEAKER_02I hate you. You're getting a shittin' kick. Um five shits. Um God, okay. Yeah, these are like therapies. Therapists, of course.
SPEAKER_01I'm not a psychiatrist.
SPEAKER_02Oh, god, okay. Um, hmm. Okay, so I I would say for me, I think I think I've gone through a couple of different phases. Um, I used to be a lot, according to my mother, softer than I am now. Um, and I'm this way because of, you know, middle school is horrible, horrendous. Um, a lot of teasing. Uh whether it be about my height or my weight. So I had to go through that whole situation. Um depression and dealing with a verbally and not physical, but I will say mental. Verbal and mental abuse in the household. Um to where certain things are still coming out today that my mother didn't even know.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_02Um, so I guess I would I would I would say to my younger self to it gets it gets better with time. Like kind of like Saeon A said, it gets better um to to stay strong and find your own support system. Um because what you said was a real statement. Like the friends you make in most of the time high school are the ones that will technically be your family. There's a difference between relatives, we're blood related and family. Family is what you create, not what you're bound to by blood. Um, do I have relatives that I can call on? Yes, but that took time. Uh one side I've like completely cut off. Um, yeah, and to to take the step if you need to to try to get out of your depression. Like I was watching Harlem, I don't know if anybody else watches it on Amazon Prime, second season was amazing. And um there's a character in there named Quinn, and she had hit a rock bottom point to where she just couldn't do anything. She was sad, she was an emotional wreck. And it took her to talk to her mom, and her mom told her that um her dad is dealing with the same thing, and he's been taking medication, but she had no idea. I that episode for me was so triggering because I've been in a limbo on dealing with my own depression, on taking medication, not taking it, you know, that constant struggle because you hear all the negative condensation behind taking medication so you can get to your better self to get over the hump. Eventually, you get tired of being on the roller coaster. So I got tired of being on the roller coaster for me. And I actually took that leap to talk to my doctor. Also, have a doctor that understands and listens. That is so key. Like, she's a black female. When I said it to her, she said, girl, I'm doing the same thing. Like, that was so comforting to know that, okay, I'm taking the right step finally for myself so I can get off of this roller coaster that I've been on probably since middle school. So be an advocate for yourself, number one. Um, so so yeah. So I I would definitely say find your support system, be your own advocate. Don't let anyone put you on a pedestal that you didn't want to be on. Um listen to yourself, trust your gut, and keep moving forward.
SPEAKER_01Trying to have people crying at the end of this episode. All right. Um this is not why the question is supposed to be asked. Anyway, Miss Skittles, who is your turn, girl? Bring out the Baltimore.
SPEAKER_06It's just my turn, and and for So I will say it's it's interesting um that both uh Dr. Quizell and Siloma have very similar responses to my own. Um and I almost cried listening to both of y'all because it's it's just interesting to so I'm I'm somebody who wholeheartedly believes like the type of people that you end up you know being around in your life is is because of the type of energy you hold within yourself. And it's just wild to me to listen to you all and and and and then for it to click like yeah, these are why these people are in my circle because they because we resonate with each other, because we've we've been through some of the same things um without having talked about it uh in particular, but just who we've grown to be is is literally because we stem from the same feelings and background. Um so um so Sayame uh is probably spot on. Uh Dr. Quizell too, but for me, um as somebody who definitely still struggles with purpose and imposter syndrome um on a daily basis, um, still struggling with my depression, um, not so much anxiety anymore. Um, so that's something I'm proud of. But um if I could go back um and tell myself like what would I teach myself? I would I would say like the same things that you are you are being shunned for, you are physically being abused for, the same things that people are laughing at you about, the same people that don't want to be your friends or or you know none none of that's gonna matter in time because in time the same things that these people are laughing at you about are the things that you that you become fucking amazing. People and people and people aspire to be like you in that way. Um, and this is something that you've been doing your whole entire life when others thought it was funny, they thought it was stupid, they they thought you were stupid or ugly or whatever. Um keep doing them, keep doing them unapologetically because there was a time where I stopped being myself. I pretended to be some of those for many years. Um and um I want to tell little me like don't worry about don't worry, that's just that's just temporary. That's a temporary feeling around temporary people who don't fucking matter. Um when you when you get older, you will find your tribe, and and those people will be your family. Like they said, though those people will uplift you, those people will celebrate you, those people will be by your side, more so than what than blood could ever be. Um and and just just you gotta you gotta be you. Like at the end of the day, you gotta be you no matter what. Um none of that's none of that stuff matters. Uh yeah. I I mean I would definitely tell my little self, don't bottle, don't bottle up the depression, don't bottle up the anxiety. Please go seek help sooner, sooner than a pandemic. Um, because you will struggle with it when you get older. And you probably could have had the tools a lot earlier. Um, it's unfortunate that you know our past generations don't, especially in the black community, don't deal well with you know mental health and things like that. Um so that's definitely something I'm gonna I'm gonna tell my younger stuff like stop bottling it up, go seek help. It's important. Um I haven't been trying not to try.
SPEAKER_02All right, now you didn't have all three of us right here about to be on the edge of cheers. It's your turn. What did I do? Answer the question. Answer the question.
SPEAKER_01Uh what would I tell my younger self? You were right. Good job.
SPEAKER_06It was an Aries moment.
SPEAKER_07It was You was right.
SPEAKER_01All along. Um Okay, well, okay, so part of that actually is still true. You you were right, and let me say why. Um you you you made certain choices when you were young, well, when you're you, uh at your age, that impacted the rest of your life. And at the time, you were nervous, you were scared, you were afraid of whether or not choosing to be as open and transparent with certain people was going to be a good thing for you. And predominantly, because you of course grew up in a household where everybody is very closeted, not closeted, that's the wrong word, closed off, uh, very secretive, very protected, and you trusted certain individuals who ended up getting married, um, and you enabled, they enabled you to realize that there are people in this world who you can potentially trust. And although you are still figuring out certain things, one of your quiet wishes is slowly coming true just in a different way. So smile, continue dancing like Sierra, uh be as authentic as you can. Uh, and honestly, don't date that person after you get out of high school, if I can change anything.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Yep. That about it.
SPEAKER_06That that one little display. Hey, that one, remember that? Don't do it. They gonna come in hot and sweet, don't do it. Don't do it.
SPEAKER_01Don't look right, it ain't all that's glitter is not gold, baby.
SPEAKER_06Oh, this is true. Oh, ooh. Oh god.
SPEAKER_01Um, yes, so um, that was interesting. Uh I have to thank you, ladies, uh, for being uh transparent. Um thank you for welcoming the round robin. Uh, because you never know what it will bring, whether it's happiness, laughter, sadness, or or tears. Uh please.
SPEAKER_06I don't get to go through all of this emotions in one sitting, okay?
SPEAKER_01But uh of course, you know, thank you listeners uh for being on this roller coaster that we call the round robin of Suchino Shoguns, uh uh Round of Robins. Um uh thank you for listening to my robins today, Dr. Quinn, Miss Gibbs, Sayone.
