Welcome back to the Blurred Spectrum Podcast. We are here for another year, another season. You haven't heard from us since when's the last time we did an episode? Jesus. December. Well, December, you're right. Cheap. Okay, so we've been taking a break. We decided to come back to you in the best month, the the blackest month, the most melanated month. Well, not necessarily, because every month is melanated. So we'll just say the year is the month where you decide all of your different companies and organizations decide to put yellow, green, and red on all of their logos and banners, uh, which you know Miss Skills absolutely hates as a professional graphic designer because it's not a good color palette to have to switch a blue logo to red, yellow, and red. But anyway, uh, not the point we're making right now. Uh the point is, welcome back. Uh, we are starting off this year with a uh a recap, more or less, kind of give you a little bit of what we've been doing as panelists. Um, end of 2023, going into 2024, a couple of our expectations, what we want to do, what we want to see. Um, and then I have a nice little surprise at the end of the episode for our panelists as well. So, but we're gonna jump right in. So, as always, I have to introduce the panelists who are on with me today. I have the uh lovely Miss Sayone cosplay.
SPEAKER_02Hello!
SPEAKER_04And I don't know if you've seen it recently, but we have the recap queen, Ms. Skittle. Hello everyone, and of course your moderator, Suchino Shogun. Uh, we are gonna jump into this really, really fast. Uh, so I'll start with um Miss Siana cosplay. What was your ending of 2023? How did 2023 wrap up for you? Like if you could put it into what is it? Spotify does it. So Spotify gives you that opportunity to like recap the year. What are your what are those ratios? Like uh uh how many positive? What are the things that occurred to you by the time you got to the new year?
SPEAKER_00Okay, so um I would say the biggest part of the end of 2023 was that I had an ending of a relationship. Um, but you know, it to have uh a new change, a new new journey, some things have to end. And um I would say um I also had left from Bowie State and transferred to Towson to finish up on my biology degree, which is great. Amazing. And uh yeah, I actually have been kind of quiet on the cosplay scene because a lot of moving parts, uh a lot of you know, taking care of a family member, and um I just had to kind of be just just be, so to speak, and uh needed to recollect myself. So yeah, so I would say that's like the the real recap of 2023 is just a lot of a lot of changes, a lot of a lot of waves and um to open up doors for 2024.
SPEAKER_04Nice, nice, nice measure, needles, changes. What is what is your final uh uh uh view, uh purview of 2023? What what what occurred?
SPEAKER_01Um my 2023 was not terrible. Um I I will say um I started out at the beginning of the year, doing started off the year just like doing things that I like being outside my comfort zone. I mean, I went to fucking Colorado at the beginning of 2023. It was a birthday situation, but I would never like just go somewhere where it fucking snows on purpose. So but it was an amazing experience. Um saw it, and that's it. Saw it, but um, so yeah, starting off the that starting off that year with with um new experience and and it kind of just did did the same throughout the year. Um, I went to a few cons that I'd never gone to before, um, anime NYC. Um what else did I feel like I went somewhere else that I've never been to. But um let's see, what else? Oh, I went to um the Adobe Max conference. That was probably the highlight of my year. Uh graphic designer, like that that's that's the conference of conferences for us, especially if you're if you're uh a creative sweets user. Um, I've been a creative sweets user since shit. I don't even know. Anyways, it's been 20 some years, so um, so yeah, that was definitely the highlight of my uh year last year. Um and then also like really just like leaning into my personal uh business ventures, um really like taking the time to like really get that started. Um, so I don't know. I would say my my 2023 was not was not terrible. Um yeah, so I can complain. Nice, nice, all right. Cool.
SPEAKER_04Uh as always, I'm always told I have to talk about myself as well. I can't just ask questions. So my 2023 was uh it was interesting. I went into it with a lot of expectations, um, leaving 2022, and um everything actually, I kind of kind of a combination of uh both of what uh both Sayonic House play, as well as Mosquito said. There was a lot of changes, uh a lot of you know continual loss, and not loss in terms of like family or anything like that, but loss in the sense of uh business, um, a lot of changes of business, a lot of uh friend differentiations. Um and then also with a lot of the losses, I got a lot of positives, a lot of new starts, um, a lot of partnerships. Um actually by the end of 2023, I have officially seven partnerships with my businesses uh that I didn't expect. And I wouldn't have walked into them had I not gone through the losses and gone through the changes. So, you know, it's uh, you know, when you're in it, you're like, damn, I never thought this was gonna happen. But when you get on the other side of it, you're like, ooh, okay, I'll see your plan, whether it's God, universe, uh uh, I'm not gonna go through the whole list, but it's whoever it is, you didn't know what the change was gonna be, you didn't know what the uh other side was gonna be. And it's you know, at the end of 2023, I had so many different experiences, and then as you know, Miss Skittles knows, you know, I thought there was like a period of time where everything kind of like slowed down, which y'all already know, I like doing a bunch of things. So when everything started slowing down, I was like, I need to do something. So I started another business, go figure. Um so the cop was like, nah, again, again.
SPEAKER_02Enough. Enough.
SPEAKER_04But I've started a management company uh using the Blurred Spectrum uh uh label. So now we as uh blurred enthusiasts are here to support different blurred in every aspect of their being, whether it's artistic, uh musical, businesses, everything. So, you know, I'm I'm really excited about that because that's part of the reason why we started the Blurred Spectrum Podcast was not all not only to share our experiences, but also to help benefit the blurred who are within the spectrum. So adding this new management aspects gives us literally the opportunity to I hate the fact I'm gonna say this, reach out and touch someone and uh help them, don't you cough, help them move forward in uh whatever industry that they're trying to be in. So I'm really excited about that. Uh so yeah, that was that was that was my 2023. It was really uh it was really interesting. Changes uh for growth. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Um so next, of course, you always have to talk about, you know, you leave one year, you go into the other. We're already in February. We gave me uh we had a pretty much like a two months off uh from the podcast. Uh so we're already kind of flowing into um 2024. So uh panelists, what has your 2024 started to give you? Because you know, just like last year, we kind of did the beginning of the year synopsis, um, but you know, where we started is not where we did. But both, I think all three of us have said that it's not what we expected the 2023 to be. So now that we're in 2024, first month and a half, um, where are you? What is it looking like? Who wants to start?
SPEAKER_01I can go. Uh 2024 started off like some shit, okay? Like, I'm like, bruh, like, are you kidding me? Like, so I mean, we we rap so I at the end of December, like, some personal family stuff happened with me, and and it it was not good, it was not good at all. And even though like all of 2023 was like considerably fine, that last week of December was trash, and then I think it's just like hey, it's January. It's January, so uh in January. I mean, after after uh an interesting trip to Jamaica, um I came back with COVID. Came back with COVID.
SPEAKER_03Uh came back with rum.
SPEAKER_01Right! Came back with COVID. COVID uh quickly turned into a whole respiratory infection that lasted extra on top of COVID, and then and then um me um already like sick and like okay, like trying to get out of being sick. Here come the snow, Martin Luther King weekend, and I was all the way in Baltimore for a friend and having to drive home in the goddamn snow beach. That took forever, down 295. Uh uh, finally get home. I'm in full depression because I was outside in the snow driving for hours. So, so then for that whole week, it snowed that Monday, snowed on Friday. I was like, fuck this, fuck Jay with me.
SPEAKER_04She's like, it's a wall.
SPEAKER_01I was like, I'm tired of all I'm tired of all of it. Um, something else happened at the end of January, and I was just like, you know what?
SPEAKER_03Just like a whole month away.
SPEAKER_01February has started. It's black history, but let's go melanated, black D, black everything. I'm gonna I'ma need 2024 to start now, and that's what happened. Okay, okay. So my February has been considerably better. Um, and I'm leading. Like, I'm like, okay, February is when my 2024 started. I don't know about the rest of y'all. Um, but you know, so far so good. Um, like I said, the business stuff um is is going well for me with the help of you know the blurred spectrum management. I'm moving right along with that. Um, so I'm really happy about that. Um, I'm I'm trying to look in 2024. Um these are the things I'm trying to move. I'm trying to get my my LLC off you know off the ground. Like, um I am taking a little step back from cosplay so I can focus on all these other things that I have going on. Um and I and and I'm not even like I do have like FOMO, I do feel like, damn, like I wanna I wanna do this, I wanna create something, but I'm also enjoying the fact like prior to being a cosplayer, I'm having those moments where I'm like, damn, it feels good. Like it feels good to come home from work and just be like working on something else, not like, damn, I gotta finish this cosplay. Like, tattoo rolled around, manifest, tattoo rolled around, and I was like, ooh, you know what, you know what that feels like? Relaxation. Okay. Normally, I would have been in and been like, I gotta get this dude. And especially after the January I had, oh my god, I cannot imagine trying to like bust out three cosplays for coxu uh right now. And then yesterday I just stopped by there, and that wind cutting through my body. I had a full coat off and regular clothes. My like the good. I can't imagine this being outside and cosplay standing out there on the on the back, like trying to get my with the way that wind was cutting. It was a girl who came in there, her legs was blue. I was like, mm-mm, things I don't miss.
SPEAKER_03Things I don't miss.
SPEAKER_01Things I don't miss about cost too right now. So um, yeah, so I'm taking a tiny step back from cosplay, but I'm also going to some cons that I've never been to this year, so I'm gonna see how that goes. So um I'm looking forward to it, but not looking forward to it, but we'll see how it goes. Um, and then I mean, really, just this year is really I'm really taking the time to focus on more things that I want to do versus like I want I got this to do for somebody else, or I gotta do this, or I gotta make sure I get this cosplay done so I can go to this, da da da da da. Like, I'm really just taking my time and giving myself grace this year to do the things that I've really been wanting to do that I've been putting on the back burner for other people um for a couple years now. So I'm excited for 2024 now that January.
SPEAKER_04But yes, Miss Siamade Cosplay, 2024. Did you also have a tumultuous January? I I'm assuming no, but you know, I'm this is all speculation. I'll let you go ahead.
SPEAKER_00Oh honey, 2023 didn't start until 2024 didn't start until maybe two and a half weeks ago, to be honest. So I am with you. Oh gosh, oh gosh. 2023 was a very turbulent year, probably one of the most turbulent, turbulent years I've had, maybe since my early 20s, and that was not a good period in my life. So um, I definitely that was when I I took the back, the back end of cosplay as well. And um, a lot of people noticed, uh, you know, they'll they're like, Are you okay? I'm like, no. No, not at all. Um, and then just kind of like being reminded on why I I went I got into cosplay. And I think you know, this is uh 2019 going back to Oticon, um, you know, when it moved to uh DC. And I'm so used to it being in Baltimore. So that was just kind of like my first um, I guess, re reintroducing myself to um Otacon and DC. And then that was like when I guess my cosplay page just kind of started forming. And then with COVID, I feel like everybody got into cosplay during COVID, to be honest with you. And um, and just kind of seeing that that change. A lot of cosplayers have fallen back, I would say. And um, I think more so is because we're not stuck in the house, being uh a part of it when there are other there are other issues. I'm not gonna go into that, but I think a lot of it we're able to get out of the house. So with that, we're able to focus on our school, our work, you know, our our relationships, our family, or whatever we need to do. Um, but uh I agree with Tiffany, Miss Kittles 100%. Cosplay was starting to be a job, and I was starting to hate it. Um, and I was like, ooh, I have to fall back. And um that was definitely last year. I felt like my creativity just wasn't flowing. I was um so I I often will text myself ideas on what I wanted to cosplay. So I I went to BlurredCon and I cosplayed, you know, very simple cosplays, simple for me. That um that that um tell you I try I feel like I don't do and I'm and I have to try not to compare myself, but I be comparing myself to Tiffany. My shit's simple compared to Tiffany. No man be building, like I don't even know how to sew. You be sewing and you be building, like anywho. You the structures you be coming in to like what are you talking about?
SPEAKER_04The props that you have the props, girl.
SPEAKER_00The props, it'll be holding on a in a in a wish and a prayer, honey. I'll be like, listen, this shit just needs to hold for the con. And then it go fall off in the car. It's not secure. I have to explain. People like Sinead, can you build me? No, I cannot, because I cannot I cannot say it's gonna fucking hold. Okay, it's not gonna hold, baby. It's good for the picture. That's all I can get. But um, so um, I guess I was a part of a I have a couple cosplay collaborations um this year. This year I call my villain era of cosplay. Um just just I love it, I love it. My villain were yes, revenge era, and it is kind of more so for me. I think I um had a bit of a um finding myself period um towards the end of last year and this year, and um I'm so used to doing things for a lot of people and even school. So my motivation was always doing something for someone else. Like I'm doing this because I'm doing this for someone else as the goal, but I've never actually did anything for myself. And so I'd say at the end of the last year, when I had a change uh tide of sorts, I was at a I was at a loss. I didn't really know what to do. I felt confused because I'm like, I have to now figure out doing something for myself. And I never knew that I was like, wow, my entire life, I was literally living a life for other people and not myself. And so I had to dig very deep and find the motivation to figure out what the Shining went. That was incredibly hard because it's like if you spent 30 years, 30 plus years of doing things for other people, and you almost have an identity crisis. Like, what do you actually want to do? And so I had a little bit of um, I would say, reflection, well, a lot of reflection and meditation and just kind of speaking at the powers of beat, my ancestors, the higher being, and just to kind of help guide me on what does that look like for me? What does my own peace look like for me? And just kind of realigning that I need to really focus on what I like to do and what I want to do. And um, I think that's where I am now. I'm a lot more at peace with myself. Uh, the beginning of 2024 was ass. Um, I'm like, I'm ready for 2023 to end. You know, car breaking down, health insurance acting stupid, can't, you know, just this very, very weird shit. But again, there's nothing that is given to us that we can't handle. And I think if we were to take the things that we deal with now and bring it back to let's say Tiffany when she was 19, we wouldn't be able to handle it because we were able to literally conquer all of those hardships to be the people that we are today. So, and I'm very grateful for that. And I think I'm I'm I'm I've opened the world for me to welcome in all the blessings. And um, I would say just going with the cosplay, I was still trying to find the motivation to cosplay this year. It was very nice, not cosplay. I enjoyed it, I fucking loved it. I saved money. You know, because we're not doing it for the we're not we're literally not doing it for money, and a lot of people don't understand. Like Tiffany has been in the game for over 10 years, 10 years of cosplay. Then no, no, actually. I'm about to say that's you for sure. That's me, but the skill, honey. See, I look, see, I done catfish my own self when it came to the skill. So Tiffany really been in the game for what five years? Six years?
SPEAKER_02Six.
SPEAKER_00Six years. Tiffany is more of a veteran than I am, to be honest, when it comes to skills. So in my book, it's 10 plus. 10 plus. But um, but yes, I would say it was the help of other cosplayers, like I have to shout out B Doc and uh Nisi the the fairy. I always forget her name is long, um, but Nisi the Black Fairy. Um, because they always like to um invite people for collaborations, and it was very much a task um because I'm like, when am I gonna have the time? I'm running around. I I don't know. I had to do this cosplay literally the night before work during a weekday, and that was for Valentine's Day, and I had no sleep, but I was like, damn, I look fucking good. And that helped me to kind of like, I was like, okay, this is cute. It's cute. I can do it.
SPEAKER_04I get it.
SPEAKER_01I don't even like Valentine's Day, but I was like, I don't like it either.
SPEAKER_00I don't like it either. That's the whole funny thing. Like, I was like, I don't like Valentine's Day, but the titties was titty and bitch. And it was pink and it was pointing.
SPEAKER_01Yes, all of that.
SPEAKER_04Yes, exactly.
SPEAKER_01I was like, she look, I'm gonna fuck around and be like, let's let me let me get a val let me get a validar.
SPEAKER_00Yes. So it was it was really nice. So I I would say that our community, we do have challenges, but we do end up inspiring others more than we know. And um that was really nice to be a part of that. I have another collaboration. It's still a task in my brain. I'm like, I have to figure out when I'm gonna do this. I have to take hours out of my day of sleep. I don't have to do this cosplay. But um in the end, um I I want to be able to be proud of my work, like seeing Tiffany's work, the the real of just I shit, I I had to pause to just pause and to see a couple times.
SPEAKER_01If you if you blink really fast, you can see like it's like when you look at the fan and you it and you blink really fast, it looked like it slows down.
SPEAKER_00That's that's that's what I mean but but just and again again, I know this is not the Tiffany appreciation show, but it is gonna be it's gonna be in my mind. So um just just just seeing that you started six years ago and you have such a library of artistic work is fucking beyond me. And bitch bitch, come on, come on, like that is just my next question. No, no, it's been months since I could I can bother you, and I'm just gonna take this time to just say how much I really appreciate you, and you you really are an inspiration to a lot of people, including myself, to kind of just keep keep going, you know, and and it and to also just let it shine. You know what I'm saying? You give us that space to let us shine, and I love you and I appreciate you for that. And you know, even if you want to wait a year to sprinkle a little bit, just a tiny bit of salt of magic, I will grasp onto that salt, put a little teeny little box, and I will, I will, I'll fold it and I will put a little bow on it, a little cosplay, little play ribbon on it.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_00No, yeah, so all right, yeah.
SPEAKER_04So not to not not to stop the uh Miss Skittle's appreciation hour, uh, but we don't have an hour. Uh gotta keep the curtain call uh uh uh apparent. Um so I will ask two more questions, uh just to move along. Oh, right, 2024.
SPEAKER_01I must say, did you answer y'all? I almost forgot.
SPEAKER_04Uh so uh 2024, it's funny. At first, when y'all both of you were giving your description of 2024 at the beginning, I was like, 2024 wasn't that bad until you started explaining yours. I was like, wait a minute, my January wasn't good either. Um because I've had to um with with the way that 2023 ended, with a lot of the things that I was starting, the partnerships, a lot of things were being cultivated for 2024. So I was like, oh man, you know, start January is gonna be amazing. So 2024 started, and you know, I did what I normally do, you know, send out messages, happy new year. Um, and then what I did, I sent out my business emails at the end of the week, you know, give everybody some time, wait till that Friday, send out emails, happy new year. I know we're not starting anything, but let's set up some meeting times for the next couple of weeks. I didn't hear nothing from nobody. And I don't mean like nothing from nobody, like nobody wanted to work. It's like everybody is either still relaxing or everybody's stressed out because they weren't prepared for 2024 to come. It was really weird. It's like a weird dichotomy between everybody. Um, so by the time I got to like the end of January, that's when finally it started to percolate. Like, oh, I'm so sorry, I missed this email, my bad. I was like, I sent that on January 4th. Um, but okay, it's January 28th, it's okay. It's alright, not upset. So, you know. Stuff uh stuff stuff pivoted, and then by the time I got to the first week of February, now everything is starting to move, and um different conventions uh are on the books finally. Uh so you know, there's different events that we're going to. I'm getting ready for. I just did Atlanta Comic-Con last weekend. That was amazing. Uh, we did the whole we did the arcade of Origin of Play. Um, and then next month I have one, two, potentially three conventions that we're gonna be at. Um uh and then a conference, and then April, one of my clients is doing a uh poetry jam, poetry slam. I'm oh not to fuck that up. Poetry slam in April in Connecticut. I'm really excited about that. So it's like things are moving, but you know, like you said, January was a wash. So it looks like for all of us, Black History Month is the beginning of 2024. Um so perfectly fine. But just to make sure we don't go over time, I did want to ask, I guess I have them do one more question, which is what are your hopeful expectations and aspirations for the year? And you can make it a couple of words, a little bit of words. Are there any conventions that you're looking forward to? Any anime you're looking forward to, uh trips you're looking forward to, gaming you're looking forward to, um, any expectations. And let's let's do like top three expectations so you don't have to go off on a tangent. Top three expectations that come to the first, not, and it's not in order, it's not in order, just the top three things that come to mind first. Um, and I'll start to give you a little bit more time to think about them. Uh, top three uh expectations that I have um are uh I also will be uh in attendance at DreamCon. And not gonna say doing what yet, because we're we're in negotiations, but I will be in attendance at DreamCon. Um I also uh I have uh several other uh I will be in attendance for Oticon for the 30th anniversary. We're really excited about that. Yeah, 30th anniversary. 30 years of Oticon.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I gotta go then. I gotta go.
SPEAKER_04So I'm excited about that. And um another thing is there is a potential client for the Blurred Spectrum management company that all of the panelists may be involved with uh come end of summer, I'll say. Uh so I have to iron out all the details, I'll let everybody know. Um, but uh I see your face, Messiah Nick Cosplay. Don't think you are you're gonna be excluded because of your schedule, and you're still gonna be in the door. Um, so yeah, so yeah, those are my three expectations. Uh but since she's trying to scoot off screen, Saya Nicosplay.
SPEAKER_02Hello. Right, what are your three?
SPEAKER_04What are your three?
SPEAKER_00Um, so let's see. My three. Um, I would say regaining my creativity. I want my creativity back from 2019 and 2020, all the way through 2022. Those were prime times of creativity, baby, and I want that. I want that back. Um, so that is probably my number one goal. Um, I would say just personal growth, um, financial literacy, personal growth for sure, and moving. So those are my top three. And um, yeah, if I could do that, baby, this year is making something to me. That's all we'll go to all that. Um yeah.
SPEAKER_04All right, Miss Hiddles, your three.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so um the first one is definitely see, why you only give us three dollars? I'm sure they can quick. The first, the first one. I mean, I can say more than three really quick. So that but the first one, the first the first one for sure is um getting my my LLC started. Like this is something been on my back burner for uh I don't even know how much long, but it's been it's been there so long that I when now that I'm actually doing it, I'm like, yes, like but it's like finally you do it, you're doing something for yourself, and it's a huge step for me because it's something I've been wanting to do for forever, it seems like. Um, so the LLC um getting up off the ground. Um I'm very much looking forward to uh Final Fantasy Rebirth on Yes. I've been waiting so long. I mean, we haven't we was already waiting so long, but now I'm like yeah, I'm ready. It's ready. Okay, so I'm super excited about that. Um uh so let's it's on this two more days. So I'm also trying to move. I think I mentioned, did I not mention that earlier? But anyways, I also trying to move this year. Um, because I'm I'm about tired, okay? I'm sick of this look. Anyways, not even gonna get into that. And then lastly, um, well actually it's two more. Lastly, um well no, yes, kind of last dream con. I'm looking forward to dream con because I'm hoping that it I'm hoping that it's better than my expectations because I have I have low expectations because it's not the type of con that I would normally go to. Yes, so um, so I'm hoping it's better than my expectations, especially being that it's uh um a black space, so I'm hoping it's better than what I'm thinking is gonna happen. So I am looking forward to that. Um, and then lastly, I my whatever vacation I'm about to go on this year, I'm already ready for it.
SPEAKER_04Don't even know where, don't even know when.
SPEAKER_01I I haven't I like I had a plan for where I wanted to go, but then like I've recently been thinking about other things, so I'm like, come now. No, I don't, it's up in the air, but I know I'm going somewhere, so yeah.
SPEAKER_03Hey, there it is.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so not too, not too much. I think we got good expectations for 2024, especially now that February is here and we've gotten out of 2023 plus one, which meeting January. Um, um, one thing, and I said at the beginning of the episode that I uh one thing that I wanted to surprise the panelists with, and that's a segment. There's a bigger surprise, but I'll wait because I don't have enough time for it. So I'll do the smaller surprise. So the smaller surprise is a segment uh that we're gonna be adding to the end of every episode. And this segment is kind of a spin-off of Say Ne Se Dine that we were supposed to continue doing, but you know, timed in the lock for it. Um, and this is uh I took this fact from one of the wrestlers who are really popular right now, where he always comes out and he says, So, everybody, what do you want to talk about? So, the concept is what do you want to gripe about? What is something that right now, and and it doesn't have to be socially, it doesn't have to be politically, it could be just in your life. Something that happened this morning. What do you want to gripe about? And in 10 words or less, and we can go if we have more time, we can talk within 10 words or less. What do you want to gripe about?
SPEAKER_01I like that.
SPEAKER_04I know, right? Real simple, real easy, just something. I mean, it could be what grinds your gears, it could be, you know, Syne say the nay, it could be what what's messing up my rainbow, my skittle style, like whatever it is. What's what's not at the end of the uh at the end of the rainbow? Like whatever you want it to be. Uh, so what in 10 words or less, and it could be anything that is something that you want to gripe about. And I see y'all pondering. I see oh, the Skittles, you got one? Oh, oh, oh, damn, that was I didn't expect that. Okay, uh, the Skittles will start with you.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so I ain't I ain't thinking my little catchphrase first, but um, my least favorite thing as a woman, ovaries, because like on slow, but like give me a break, dog. Like, like, why can't you look? It's one thing that you gotta come every month, but like, can you come quietly? Like, what's the time? I just don't understand. I don't understand why you gotta come in here and punch me in the gut every time. Whoa! So, least favorite thing as a woman, 100% don't recommend fucking ovaries.
SPEAKER_03I said 10 words or less.
SPEAKER_01I'm sorry, that I it wouldn't, it would have been 10 words if I didn't go like I'm raising that cost.
SPEAKER_00I had three. I had three, but I'm gonna I'ma just say this. Why do certain jeans make our ass look so fat and we take it off of our ass? Like, I don't like that. I want it to be cost, I just want it to be round all the damn time, man. I'm mad. I'm mad. I'm mad. I'm mad. Can I wear this to bed? Can I go to work with it? Annoyed.
SPEAKER_03I did not see that going the way that it went in any way, shape, or form.
SPEAKER_00I'm mad. Because I'm wearing these jeans right now. They look in plump. But I'm like, I know it ain't real. I'm just mad.
SPEAKER_01I'm just hey, look, you did this to yourself.
SPEAKER_00I'm mad. They look good. I'm like, damn, I'll be having people look at my ass and like, ha ha ha ha. It's a lie. But it's a lie, but it's okay. It's okay. I could lie for a little bit. I'm mad though.
SPEAKER_01I love the way you lie. Thank you. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_03I can't even remember mine anymore.
SPEAKER_01This is what happened when you asked for our random thoughts, okay?
SPEAKER_03Oh, I should have gone first.
unknownThat's what happened.
SPEAKER_04Oh, God. Okay. Uh, well, clearly I have nothing to grab about because I'm laughing joyfully. Um, so I want to wrap up the episode there. I can't remember what I was gonna say. Um thank you all for uh coming, listening to the start of the 2024 year episode, uh, new season, new year in Who This. Uh, and of course, who this is Sayane Cosplay, Miss Skittles, Suchy No Shogun, if you can let them know how you can be found, how you can be reached, how you can be seen, um, where will they see you? Uh, if you want to also include, you know, some of the conventions you have on your list. Sione cosplay. How can it be found? How can you be reached? Where will you be seen?
SPEAKER_00Alrighty. So on Instagram, Sione underscore cosplay, on Facebook, Sione Cosplay, and on my email, Sioneperiod Cosplays at gmail.com, I would like to check out Chromacon because we love a black con at Baltimore Convention Center. Um, just hearing that just pulls my heartstrings in the best way possible to support. I love Blurred Con. I know, I know all cons have controversy. I will say that in general. All cons. But I love the the space that blurred con is to see, and it also because of convenience, to see black nerds, the food be fucking hitting, the cosplays be cosplaying, the cocoa butter be smelling. You know what I'm saying? I I just love, I just love it. You know, the retwist is out. It's just the undercut. I just love all of it, you know. So um, you know, I'm for it. And um I I think Odacon, Suchi definitely convinced me now I'm gonna have to pull Odokon out my ass because I wasn't I wasn't gonna, I really wasn't on the cards for me to go. But because it's the 30th anniversary, I feel like I'm gonna have to represent because it no matter what, but that is still my original con that I really love uh and hold near dear to me. So uh, so yeah. Did I answer the question? I feel like I don't understand. I did, didn't I? Sorry.
unknownMs.
SPEAKER_04Skittles, how can you be found? How can they reach you? Where would they see you?
SPEAKER_01Um, Ms. Skittles uh T R underscore cosplay on Facebook at TikTok and Instagram and on X it M I Z Skittles. Oh what? Twitter. I mean Twitter, you know, Twitter, you know, the last one. Oh okay. Okay, Twitter X. Okay. Yeah, that thing. I thought that was a foresight real quick. I thought maybe. No, on Twitter. Um and then as far as where you can see me this year, so for sure, uh MomoCon, um, Chromacon, BlurCon, Green Con. I'm missing one. I feel like, yeah, I'm definitely missing one. Anyways. Oh, Dragon Con. There it is. Okay, so those those are the five for sure. And then I might throw in a little, you know, hey, I'm here just like I popped up at Tatsu yesterday. I might pop up at um awesome or Odacon this year. So yep.
SPEAKER_04Awesome's all. Okay, so myself, uh Instagram, Suchi No Shogun, T-S-U-C-H-I, underscore no, underscore shogun. Uh also Umbral's Arcade on most platforms. Um, well, I'll say most. Uh, what is that? Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Discord. Yes. Oh, and Suchi No Shogun, all one word on Discord as well. Um, and then I can be found. I was just at Atlanta Comic Con. I will be at Otacon. I will be at BlurCon. I will be at DreamCon. I have been convinced to be at Dragon Con. Um, I know there's more. I'm forgetting quite a few. Uh, but I'll be at a lot of cons because my entity, my business summer's arcade, and everything, we are servicing the cons with our gaming and all that stuff. So you will see me at a lot of different places, and I may be able to convince some of our panelists to show up with me. Uh, as long as I can pay for their flight, their hotel, um, and somehow pay them to get out of work. They'll be there. So right, look at the planning. I will do my best. Uh, so yes, uh, and then of course, uh our podcast, the Blur Inspectrum Podcast, as usual, we'll try our best, you know, it depends on them to be at uh FlourCon as we normally are. Uh and of course you can find us the Blur Spectrum Podcast on IG, on Facebook. Uh, we're also on Twitter. Uh we'll get we'll we'll try to do a TikTok, but you know, there's a lot of people to control one place. That's that's a lot of stuff. Um, and I ain't gonna do it. Um, and then uh most arcade, I already said that. No. And then our mailbag, uh, theblood spectrum at urmblestarcade.com. Uh, and then lastly, uh I know there's something else. I'm forgetting something for getting. Oh, right. Yes. So lastly, we are going to be creating a new entity as a podcast. But I'll tell you more about it later.
SPEAKER_03Bye.
