Anime, gaming, cosplay, manga. Long ago, these four nations lived in con harmony. Then everything changed when the corona nation attacked. Only Blurds, master of all the convention elements, could overcome it. But when the world needed them most, the conventions vanished. A three-month span passed, and Numberless Arcade discovered the Blurred Spectrum. Black nerds from various backgrounds. And because their blurred skills are great, they have a lot to teach the world since they all seem to be at home. But we believe the spectrum can save the world. Welcome everyone to our obviously themed Avatar, The Last Airbender episode, where we shall discuss what benders that we believe we are. Now, this is based off of you know the different nations, whether you know it's the air nomads, the fire nation, the water benders from the north or southern tribe, or the earth kingdom. And we're going to talk about whether we believe we're benders, non-benders, where we're whether we are equalists, or you know, just individuals who are hermits standing outside of the entire spectrum of all of them. So today we have our panelists, starting with myself, Suchino Shogun, we have Kaze, we have Ms. Skittles, we have the Black McCoy, we have Seyone, and then we have Jorzy P. So what we'll do is I'll go ahead and start. So I believe I actually had a dream years and years ago, uh, where my parents actually were, I think it was actually in the middle of Korra, if I'm not wrong, uh, The Legend of Korra, uh, where both of my parents are benders. My mother was a waterbender, my father was an earth bender. And similar to how some of the characters who have multi-bender families, how it's kind of a mesh of individuals, uh, each of the children have different abilities. My specific abilities were kind of benefited from both of my parents. Although I championed uh the earth bending skills, the fluidity of the waterbending from my mother gave me the ability to bend not only earth and mud, but also terrain and plants. So I had the ability, maybe not to bloodbend, but you know, kind of terraform, if you will. So, what nation am I a part of? Did I choose water? Did I choose earth? Well, obviously, I am a part of the earth nation all day in the paint. Why? Because Earth Nation is the nation. There is not a nation better than the earth kingdom. Why? Because the nomads want to stay by themselves, fire nation just wants to conquer, water nation actually just wants to isolate themselves and learn how to fight, getting ready for some type of civil war. But what does the earth nation do? They build a kingdom, a kingdom and a society, a community with layers where each and every they give you the opportunities to grow and become new people. You can learn actually how to balance checkbooks. Why? Because there is no issues in the Earth Kingdom, right? All of you agree, right? Because you can't say nothing.
SPEAKER_05You can't, because the Earth Queen was killed for a reason, but that's none of my business.
SPEAKER_08I don't know what you're talking about. The Earth Queen was killed, your king was not took his bear. That's because he was a figurehead. Oh okay. First of all, Earth King was not killed. He took his bear and then he made changes. It's not his fault that the head of the Dali decided to, you know, do some kind of hypnocism things with light, you know, light, fire. Maybe it was the fire nation that did it, and I'm just saying. Anywho, Earth King, Earth Nation, Basingsei on deck. Come on, boomy. Earth, Earth is a thing. Now, granted, this isn't an Earth Nation shirt. This is actually a Deciduay shirt, but Decidua is amazing. So just want to let you know, green all day, green till I die, Earth Thunder.
SPEAKER_05All right. Note that decided wise is also a part ghost, which means it's partly dead.
SPEAKER_08Uh, but it's also part grass, which is part of the earth. Anywho, so we're gonna go ahead and uh hand it over to our uh next uh panelist, the Black McCoy. What nation are you from? Where do you rep?
SPEAKER_05Oh, if I just uh stretch a little bit here, I guess I can oh, what's this? Fire Nation University, where the the brilliant and most cunning, clever, and strategic minds in all of the Avatar universe are clearly born, the most wise and honorable of all the bending styles, the ones that have to maintain the most control, understanding, and just general relationship with nature, because when one holds so much power, it's very easy to destroy those things around you that you love and care about. And so, who better to understand that ferocious power than a firebender? Let's be let' let's let's be entirely honest. If it weren't for vendors like Iroh and Zhang Zhang and Zuko, and you know what, she was a little bit crazy. We're gonna give Azula her props because she was still a bad bitch, despite what you may think about her actions. She was one of the most brilliant minds, and Iroh was one of the greatest generals in all of Avatar history. So, and Zhang Jong was actually much more of a hermit himself and one of the greatest firebenders in the world, if not one of not if not as great as a dragon itself, or even the fire sages, no, not the fire sages, I'm sorry, the sun warriors. I beg my pardon. Um, but I personally feel as though I identify with the fire nation because I am extremely passionate. There's a very strong fervor within my spirit, and I can very easily lose control of that temperament if I do not practice temperance. And I think that when especially when you work your way away from actually no, when you look further into Zuko's personal character development, from how he went from being this very angry and ferocious firebender to learning the origins of the actual firebending and its relationship to not simply being of emotional um destruction, but being that of beauty and encompassing much more than just force, um, but encompassing what it means to be in true harmony with oneself. And what is fire but pure life and harmony.
SPEAKER_08Is that right?
SPEAKER_05It's not wrong.
SPEAKER_08Wow, there's a lot going on there. Uh I wow. Um, yeah. So yes, Arrow, one of the most brilliant generals of all time, yeah, who conquered several other nations, communities, uh, lands, uh, you know, colonizers. Uh, anyway, so uh we'll go ahead and move on to the next person.
SPEAKER_05Um yeah, because being an isolated oppressor on your own is just that much better.
SPEAKER_08Yes, precisely. Anyway, so we'll come back to that one. Uh we'll head over to uh horsey P, your nation on the God, Indivisible.
SPEAKER_03I was thinking about this for a minute, and um I was with you. Like I was really with you, like for a while. Like I was like, yo, Earth Nation, like that's where the architects come from. They had the city of traps. Like it was just like it was it was all the greatest things that I would normally be interested in in terms of engineering, architecture, and stuff like that, and stuff like that, or in that area, how down they are people. I was I was for it, because then I thought about it. I thought about it, I thought about it, I thought about it. I couldn't do it for the sheer fact of Air Nation just seems like it was more by people than Earth Nation. One, Earth Nation to some extent, to some extent seems xenophobic to a slightly slight extent. And the reason being is because I guess they've been burnt before, no, you know, no pun intended, but they've been burnt before by others outside of the outside of the city. So it's true for shame the baby.
SPEAKER_08That wasn't a positive nation for you, but okay. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_03I got actually starts on five days, but I'll leave I'll leave those later. But like it it was like it was air nation, it's just they're they're peaceful people, they're about their stuff. They're not trying to really interact with the rest of the world, they're just trying to look out for their own. Not to say that they're not allies to anybody else. They still want to help everybody else. If you need them, they're there, but if you don't call on them, they go call you. So it's just like they're just gonna sit up there, look out for their own, try to keep their own energy intact. But another thing was that the air nation is incredibly reserved. They're incredibly reserved people. Um, which is, you know, their powers actually kind of seen later on in the chorus series, but like they they keep their powers to an extent. I mean, the perfect example is for being you can look at them as one of the weakest nations, but one man took out an army. Like he didn't like one of my friends say he didn't die because he got killed, he died old age. They died because they got killed. It's like he died old age. So it's one of those things like he's reserved, he does not see reason and just extort and just pushing his power onto everybody else. He wants them to know he's there to help them, but he does not necessarily care to be deeply involved with them, and that's the way I feel a lot of times. I I keep myself reserved and to myself because of my own energy and say things that I may deal with personally. But then it's like I'm there for anybody who needs me, especially those closest to me. You need me, I'm there. If you don't need me, know that I'm somewhere in the win. You know, once again, no punning tip. But like I'm called.
SPEAKER_08I can definitely agree with that that sentiment that the air nation, although they are looking out for them themselves, you know, in kind of that own uh inside your community, inside your household type of mentality, but they were still there for other nations when necessary. I mean, just think about the locations of where the or nomads holds were. I mean, one wasn't too far from the Fire Nation, uh, one wasn't too far from the northern or southern water tribe. So, and the thing is they didn't even say where all of the air nomads locations were. Aang just happened to remember those two places, one because he lived in one primarily, and the other one he had trained it there at one point, but they didn't specifically say that there weren't other places that the air nomads had built someplace to study or to, you know, reside. So, you know, being available to the outside world while still keeping themselves isolated is you know definitely something I can say the air nomads did and did consistently.
SPEAKER_03So friendly gypsies. Air nomads are pretty much friendly gypsies.
SPEAKER_05I wouldn't go that far, but yeah, yeah. I was like, well, I would say that the air nomads were more like they're more I they're more like priests who know how to fight. Because they never bound themselves to any specific Yeah. Well, not all monks know how to fight, but um there are they they never bound themselves to a specific location, although they did have, you know, they they you only saw different temples, you never saw, oh, this is the air nation, or this is true.
SPEAKER_03Like you just thought they had no they had no actual home. Nobody priests or monks have an actual home. They had no home, they just moved. Yeah, wherever they felt they would need it, they just moved.
SPEAKER_08They just have a they don't have a connection to the physical world. Their their home is the spiritual world, which is all around them. So, yeah, true, true, true, true, true. I mean, I don't know who can top that, but who I will let go next is uh the one with the embodiment of wind in their name, which is Kaze. On to you.
SPEAKER_04All right, so uh if I was gonna like you know wrap up my own little bender narrative, uh I'd say that uh I was born in uh like a southern water water tribe. And uh, you know, and it you know, you know, it was all about the you know, the family and the uh you know the spirituality, the togetherness, you know, the tenderness and all that. And uh, but I was actually I was actually born uh airbender. And and even though I was always, you know, you know, wrapped, you know, wrap, you know, wrapped around in the family and love and melanin. Um you know, I always kind of uh you know, found myself a little, you know, detached from it all. So I you know, so when I kind of came of age, I think I would have uh you know went on to kind of become an air nomad. Uh you know, like you know, for the spring cut of nothing like a home good meat. Um, but but one of one of my favorite things about Avatars is how it's just like a you know collection of like uh you know, like the Eastern and other cultures, like martial arts and other things. So I actually actually have like notes. Um I found out that the uh the four the four elements in the books that of each of uh of the of each season was based on uh it was uh uh it was kind of like an art of art of war type book by uh Miyamoto Musashi. And uh and uh in the book in the uh in the book of air specifically, it was concerned with studying the strategies of others, uh, and not not only not only in understanding how to uh defend against them and beat them, but uh in saying in understanding them, you would you would you like understand yourself. Um and uh and also and I also thought the uh the martial arts styles like air air burning is based on uh bagwa, which is like all about you know continuous movement and simultaneously you know defending yourself and uh you know and and uh and using offense. And uh and and and it was also interesting because um there's certain moves in bagwa that's like incredibly lethal, but just because of their nature, they usually don't uh veer towards that. Uh I've been all about that, but you know, I have my own issues. Um whereas uh water the water style is based on Tai Chi. And uh and Tai Chi is all about you know refinement and relax relaxation and like minimal movements, and uh and it's all and you know it's almost it's almost more of a you know it has like martial aspects, but it's almost more of like a meditation, and uh, you know, and that's very in line with uh you know like water bending, like they can uh you know they can bring they can bring force when needed, but you know, it's also you know, so it's it's about getting yourself right, not necessarily, you know, but impacting the the world around you. Um but yeah, yeah. I think I think that's uh that wraps that especially me being uh just I'm all about you know freedom. I'm really detached uh from you know a lot a lot of worldly concerns in a lot of ways. Um I'm uh technically peaceful.
SPEAKER_08Uh technicality alone. Okay.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna say if you climb my mountain, then you're gonna bring the mountain to Mohammed. I get it.
SPEAKER_06All right.
SPEAKER_04Uh uh, but yeah.
SPEAKER_08All right. I have nothing to say on that one. That's you bitch. What happened to the peaceful nature? What happened? Three seconds.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I can have it once in a while. We gotta do it just once in a while, just y'all know.
SPEAKER_05This nigga went from Mark Giacus. This nigga went from Mark Giapsu is a here in two seconds. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_08All right, so now we are going to move it over to Miss Sayone.
SPEAKER_00Um, so I had some more time to think about it. And I'm a tourist, and I was thinking, okay, all right, well, Earth Nation, you know, has the same aspects of Taurian nature. We like stability. Um, you know, we love to make sure that everything is stable. You know, we make sure to build a very sturdy home for ourselves, and um, we do like architecture and using that creativity to make ourselves better people. But then I yeah, yeah, well, I'm not trying to gas you up now. I'm already good.
SPEAKER_08I'm calm nod right now, and I'm not airbender.
SPEAKER_00So seeing your head nod real hard. I'm like, wait a second, I'm not trying to gas you up. Um, but on the flip side, as I've gotten older, um, I noticed that I have certain traits of the air nation and the water nation.
SPEAKER_08Hey, hey, calm down.
SPEAKER_00I'm just saying, you have to have to be fair. Um, each tribe has wonderful traits. I even, you know, depending on certain aspects of my life, I'm very passionate like the Fire Nation. But personality-wise, I'm more so the water tribe. We love, you know, kind of fluidity, you know, uh refinement. And there is a kind of like a joining of community, but also we don't really want to go outside to other tribes per se. But then, you know, as I've gotten older, I like to do it myself. You know, you exude a lot of energy being out, you know, talking to people at work and you know, dealing with the with the public. And when I come home, I don't want to be bothered. I want to be left the hell alone. And I feel like, you know, even though you know we are fun loving and and we are peaceful, I don't want you knocking at my damn house at like leave me the hell alone. You see what I'm saying? Like I just want to be left alone. So um I feel like that the morals, I think I would have the morals of the Earth Nation of stability, the personality of the water nation, just fluid and calm, but the temperament of the air nation when I want to be by myself, I want to be left alone, I don't want to be bothered. And so I feel like it wouldn't be it would be a disjustice for me to not have those three tribes to describe who I am.
SPEAKER_05I think we found our avatar.
SPEAKER_08No, no, I was I was thinking, I mean, and not in any way am I saying you you have like a multiple personality or some type of anger on the black guy. But what I was gonna say is that's similar to kind of how Kana was, because Kana, you know, although she went through some things, her main thing is she just she realized her that she wanted to lay something down, like pass down her bloodbending to somebody else, but she also wanted to be left alone. So Hama, thank you. Um so that's why she didn't go directly back to the Water Nation, she stayed in Fire Nation territory, lived in those woods, had a little tavern, do whatever she wanted to do by herself, didn't want nobody to bother her until she was able to pass on her bloodbending.
SPEAKER_05So that's you know, I still I mean she was she was still terrorizing citizens, but like I said, that's what she doesn't have a flip side, but that's the problem knocking on her door at 6 p.m.
SPEAKER_02She had the practice, okay? Thank you. Thank you. She was practicing when she was in prison. What do you mean?
SPEAKER_08She was not practicing, she was unlocking her mutant ability. That's completely different.
SPEAKER_02There you go. There you go.
SPEAKER_05This woman said she was practicing on rats, and then she was like, I'm ready for soldiers, and then she escaped and she just like kept going.
SPEAKER_08It's not like she went back to the prison and was just testing on soldiers.
SPEAKER_05She just doing it for random ass people and locking them in a table.
SPEAKER_08If you don't practice your skills, then they will go away. That's how it works.
SPEAKER_03Sometimes you just gotta ride that bike to keep your skills up, and you're doing spells.
SPEAKER_05I'll keep that in mind when it comes to forced imprisonment.
SPEAKER_08I will say that your your your hair and your dress today give me very like high levels of the uh Mizukage, like all water, all everything. That's what I'm getting right now. So spit that acid.
SPEAKER_00It was completely planned, you know. A little bit, you know, a little bit.
SPEAKER_08All right. So uh let's wrap up our six people uh before we give our, you know, if if anybody has, you know, uh references from other people with uh Ms. Skittles.
SPEAKER_01So initially, um because of my zodiac, I was thinking I was definitely going to be a part of the Fire Nation. Um I I definitely have, you know, that passion. I can I can get you know a little aggressive sometimes, you know. Um not so much destructive, but definitely aggressive when necessary um and when I'm feeling passionate about something. Um but I am definitely uh the type of person who's like grounded in everything that I do. Uh like just foundational uh structure. Uh so I am I'm and and and not only that, my favorite character happens to be from this nation. So I'm definitely uh part of the earth kingdom.
SPEAKER_08We found our baby pong. All right.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm I'm definitely part of the earth kingdom. Um I love everything about just just the whole structure of just you know structure. Like I'm I'm organ I'm the I'm the type of person who likes to organize things, like I'm making lists, you know, I'm all of that speaks to me. The fact that they have a kingdom, you know, they take care of their people. Yep. Um the king is a little, you know, it's a little sus, but but the queen was worse, but it's okay.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. But they build let's not forget about Kubiro. And let's not forget about Azula.
SPEAKER_08Anywho, continue.
SPEAKER_01You can never forget Azula. No, you can't. Lord, don't even give me sound of it, girl. But um but yes, so I'm I'm I'm a grounded person. Like I'm just everything that I attempt to do in life, like it's just it it's it has to start somewhere, and then you you build your way up into success. And and that's what I aim to do in everything that I do in life. And even when it comes to like relationships with, you know, family and friends and stuff, I I try to be that person, you know, whenever somebody needs me, I try to be that that foundational base, like, hey, you know, if you need anything, like just know I got you. So don't don't don't stress too much. Just know there there is somebody in your corner and I can I can help you, you know, at the at the core of things, if if that's what you need. So that's just what I love about the the Earth Kingdom. And then on top of that, like talk, like come on, guys.
SPEAKER_07Right.
SPEAKER_01Like talk is oh my god, I love that girl. So yeah.
SPEAKER_05Somebody else did too. Them kids had to come from somewhere. But we ain't gonna talk about it, are we? They didn't. They did it. I still think it was talking.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm I'm definitely thinking about it.
SPEAKER_05Oh, wait, no, they did address it. They did address it. Toph addressed it. She was just like, I forgot what she said, but it was a re it was a throwaway line because she was like, Yeah, I fucked him and you know, it was cool. I'm sure she didn't use those words, but alright. I mean, you don't I gotta find that episode now.
SPEAKER_08So we have what, two Earth Benders, uh Fire Nation, and uh Air Nomad, and then two Water Nation livers slash air nomad becomers. Is that about close?
SPEAKER_03I actually I I'll say this much. Since we do it that way, if I'm an air nomad, I'll probably stay at one point Earth Nation. I'm not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_06That's all I need. That's all I need.
SPEAKER_03We want. All right, okay, okay, okay. I'll be air nomad, but I'll stay through.
SPEAKER_00We're vacationing in the air uh in the earth, um, earth nature for sure. And that's where our villa is gonna be.
SPEAKER_08So that is all I need. That's four. Okay, all right. They know, they know because who's gonna stay on the side of Volcalo? Come on now. Who's gonna do it? Somebody wants to be left alone. Uh the nomads want to be left alone, which is why they just left at any time. Nobody restricted them. You have a free pass, you can leave it anytime. That's it. Scotty, you know, fill out the paperwork. That's it. Anyway, so uh, does anybody have any uh additional people who they spoke to uh via social media, people they spoke to face to face, and um gotten their um nations and the reasons why they chose those nations?
SPEAKER_05I got one. I got a couple, but like there's one specifically that I that was actually really detailed and it was really good.
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_05Um so this one came from Jarl. Jarrell said, uh let me see. Jarrell said he would not only be an airbender that had like a Tenzin like Zaheer style of airbending, but also had um um Ty Lee's um pressure point knowledge um and be a specialist there, would also might be a member of the White Lotus.
SPEAKER_03That would make sense though. Because how much power he would have? That would make sense. Almost everybody in white lotus was straight G's quantum G.
SPEAKER_05But he said, um, he said, but about the Lotus, it was honestly a toss-up between white and red, white lotus and red lotus. He said that I like that both are a reflection for the need for battle of the need for balance between the avatar and the world. So he said he might actually find his own organization called the Black Lotus ready to protect the Avatar from the world, but also protect the world from the Avatar should the need arise.
SPEAKER_08Wow. So he was like like the backhand of every like leader of something. Uh Donzo. Donzo, yes, yes, yeah. So he'd be Donzo. Yes. Gotcha.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_08Uh Horsy P, you had one?
SPEAKER_03Almost everybody I talked to said they would do ordination, and that's because of blood bending. Everybody wants to be able to blood the water. And I'm like, what the hell?
SPEAKER_08Why is that what you want?
SPEAKER_03Well, military. But uh milk baby. But one thing I did notice though is um I was talking to actually my uh my sister, not my youngest one, but the second youngest. And she watches um Avatar. But her thing was she said the reason if she was to join anything, if she wasn't to join anybody, it would be um Fire Nation. That was just because to her, Fire Nation, she currently lives in Baltimore. Fire Nation to her is easy. Wow, incredibly inclusive, incredibly inclusive, snocked. Yeah, they got more money than everybody else, but in the same sense, it's like they use it to hold it above everybody else. Not to mention that their leader is on this is all her words, but I had to agree with him after actually. She had an issue with Ozai because as strong as a fire nation is supposed to be, Ozai literally kept all those secrets to himself and held that whole nation back. So it was like there was there was like they're supposed to be able to just create fire from internally just out of thin air. Like they shouldn't be able to use just any oxygen in the area to make a fire, not raise it up out of the ground or have need a torch next to them or anything like that. The soldiers themselves should be able to be do just the same thing or close to the same thing as Iroh and Ozark.
SPEAKER_08Not to a certain extent, like not everybody has the brethren.
SPEAKER_03Not to the same power level or the same strength, I mean, but like the fact of they can just create a fire out of nowhere, like they're at any given time, any one of them is a living weapon. Where it was literally just the only really trained ones was Iroh and Ozai. Yeah, the soldiers are trained to do what they need to do, but they weren't as strong as they could have been, or as they once were in older times.
SPEAKER_07Yep.
SPEAKER_03When um Ozai's father was so that's why it's that's why I say that the Fire Nation went down a great peg when Ozai went in. That was one of her main reasons for not wanting to even do it though.
SPEAKER_05Continue. Well, this actually it sounds like someone got uh their education at home.
SPEAKER_03I want the education. Uh what's her name? When you just said they had the pressure points, I want her education. Oh, Tylee and Lee?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's interesting because even because Ty Lee, Azula, and May all went to the same school. They did. Azula was the only firebender. Tylee went off to join the circus because she wanted, you know, she had uh a very airbender-like freedom kind of spirit. Or actually, I wouldn't even uh she just had a more of a free spirit, and that's just what her choices were.
SPEAKER_08She chose to be a Kyoshi warrior in the Earth Nation. But go ahead. I I call it how as I seize it.
SPEAKER_03Oh man, your knees, you know what I mean? God damn.
SPEAKER_08Um does anybody else have any um uh additions? Uh Skittles.
SPEAKER_01Um so this uh I asked a question on my um my Facebook Causeway page, and um one of the well I had a few answers. Uh a lot of people uh gravitated towards water because of the blood bending as well.
SPEAKER_08Wow. But there's worried about that, I think.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely. And like we all like the people forget bloodbidding is an extremely rare skill. Like it's not something that every water baby can just do because it's a full moon.
SPEAKER_01They like we all can do it, dog. Everybody can do it.
SPEAKER_05No, everybody can't do it. Everybody everybody ain't combustion, man. Everybody ain't got a little fire, everybody don't have a fire cannon in the middle of their head. Like only two airbenders in all of history can fly. Like, I don't understand. I don't know why people think everybody can just have access to these skills when they say they're rare.
SPEAKER_01It's like we all can do it. Right. This guy was like, um, so his name is James. He was like, he gravitates towards air, but he also would probably be part of the water tribe. Um he said he likes that they're both similar, uh like a flow type movement, so he he feels like um because he's a relaxed type person, so he feels relaxed. And he said it's also they're both very powerful, so he he could see himself in both nations.
SPEAKER_00So I think it's interesting how so many people say they're relaxed, and you know that ain't true. Right, you want to relax how like we're relaxed and serene, like why y'all lying though? Like I'm so relaxing, cool kind of thing.
SPEAKER_05Like, I know I'm I know I can get angry and shit. Like gotta be honest with myself.
SPEAKER_04I'm I'm temporarily relaxed.
SPEAKER_08I can concur.
SPEAKER_05Like if someone's genuinely genuinely relaxed, you gotta work at that. Like, that's that does not just come easy.
SPEAKER_08It is not an easy thing. Takes years of practice, right?
SPEAKER_05Uh Jong Jong was a fire bidding master. He was still angry all the time.
SPEAKER_00Um, I spoke with Talon, who's my boyfriend, and because he's a huge Naruto head, like he's been trying to get me into Naruto like the longest time. So I was like, all right, well, it's time for me to do my homework. And so for him, uh he was saying, all right, well, personality-wise, because he's very chill and you know, very fun loving. Um, but he's like, you know, I definitely see myself in the fire nation at times because like, you know, even though I'm very chill, if I feel like the people that I love are threatened, or if I feel like, you know, I'm threatened, you know, I'm gonna handle that. Um but he's very, you know, he's like a gentle giant, you know, he's he doesn't go into anything, he thinks about it before he does, you know. So he has, you know, parts of the Earth Nation, but he's very, very serene, calm. But he's like, you know, if I need to pop off, if I if my loved ones are threatened, I'm gonna handle that. So, you know, and also the passion of the fire nation, he says, you know, I'm very passionate. So I think that personality-wise, he is fire nation, temperament-wise, he's the water nation. But yeah, he the passion keeps driving him, you know, uh, for what he does, for what he wants to do. Um, but personality-wise, he's very chill.
SPEAKER_08Sounds like Avatar Roku. Anybody?
SPEAKER_05Avatar Roku was like, listen, Sozin. I'm gonna let you live. So I know I know you think this is a good idea, but I'm telling you, don't do this shit. Don't do it. Don't push me. He does the shit anyway. Listen, I told you not to do it. I told you. We're not we ain't friends no more. But because we were friends, I'm gonna let you know now if you try it one more time. I will kill you. That's why Roko was like, hey, I don't give a shit what you feel. Like sometimes you gotta take it again.
SPEAKER_08I do what you gotta do. I I I apologize that I put you in this position because I could have handled Sozan back then, but here's what it is.
SPEAKER_05Uh cause it is. I was trying to be I was trying to be nice like you, but you can't be nice to everybody, hey. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_04Uh I I don't really have social media and the and uh and the few people I asked, uh their uh answers weren't uh satisfactory.
SPEAKER_05Oh, and they're usually aspiring bloodbenders as well. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04One of them. Uh oh, I did I did I did remember a few a few things for myself. I'm also I'm also a Libra, which is the air sign. So that that lined up to uh and and also if if uh if minding your business was a religion, I'd be probably probably like a pulpit preacher.
SPEAKER_05It'd be the shortest sermon ever. Sermons would be all of 10 minutes.
SPEAKER_08One of Kaze's favorite uh sermons is the uh the uh the barren land that uh he he grew. Uh that's from the high heavens in this barren land, and he grew fucks, but not one fuck was grown in this barren land. He was not able to harvest any fucks. None were given, no one handed out. Glory be.
SPEAKER_05And it was from it was from that dead sea that the church was born.
SPEAKER_08So we'll definitely come back to this topic. Well, the topic of Avatar. There are a lot of things that people have talked about over the years, uh, since the first show was aired, and then of course, now that um after the you know, uh second Legend of Korra, and then now that both have been placed onto streaming platforms. People are taking the opportunity either to watch them again or watch them for the first time. Uh, you know, there have been talks since back when Legend of Cora was taking place that a third season was gonna come out with, you know, Earth Bending Twins and, you know, all these different types of um uh situations.
SPEAKER_05I think a lot of that was fan, fan stuff, wasn't it?
SPEAKER_08Oh no, all of it was fan stuff, but that's what I'm saying. There have been there's been speculation for years about the next potential season um and whether it's actually going to happen. And uh I it's very possible now that there has been this new resurgence now that it's on uh Netflix and people are able to watch it and Netflix is still working on their like live action adaptation still, I think.
SPEAKER_05It's I think it's it's supposed to air.
SPEAKER_08Did it already make an announcement of the date?
SPEAKER_05I think they said sometime next year. I think it was supposed to be this year, but a lot you know was pushed back. So I think it's actually gonna be in the next couple of years, if not next year. And I know there's a there's that campaign for Marcus the Visual because he did like the the like adaptations of different avatar characters following Cora. Um, and people want Nickelodeon to pick it up and you know move forward with it and get him his coin.
SPEAKER_08We'll see what happens.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_08But that wraps up this episode. Please tune in for our next uh episode. Actually, I have to pick the next episode. I have a wheel that I would like to do.
SPEAKER_05It's time for the wheel of morality.
SPEAKER_08Um let me see. Do I stab it up? I do. Awesome. So let's select our next episode. I have a couple of topics that your uh panelists have come up with, and I'm going to spin the wheel and determine which one we are going to do next. All right. I will allow Miss Uh Sayone to tell me when to stop.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay. Let me get my glasses now so I can read this print.
SPEAKER_07Uh stop.
SPEAKER_08All right. It says, Does anime, does the anime intro or outro change our perception of what we have seen or will see in the anime? That's a good topic.
SPEAKER_00I picked a good one, yes.
SPEAKER_08You better pick girl. So basically that topic just means, I mean, I think all of us uh over the years have had different anime that have that have had soundtracks that have touched us in places that we didn't even know we had, uh, that have kept us um mentally sane when the song comes on, has reminded us of happier times or even sadder times if we were to happen to hear it on somebody's phone as a ringtone or grace uh the presence on uh TV or on the internet. So uh basically this question is asking does the outro or the intro change how you believe the anime will take place? Do you feel like, oh, based off this intro, this is about to be an amazing anime, or is it gonna be a terrible one? Or after you watch the episode, does the outro help you decide whether you're gonna watch another episode, or does it tell you, well, now I officially know I'm done with this? So we'll talk about that in a future episode. Actually, in the next episode, what am I talking about? So pretty excited. Um if we don't have anything else, look forward to the next topics. Um, one of our next episodes also will be Steven Universe versus Shera. So you should be excited for that as well. Uh, let's go ahead and throw out our uh our social media handles. I'll give ours, which is Umblestar Cade at all platforms other than Snapchat and TikTok. Um Saone.
SPEAKER_00Saone cosplay on both Instagram and Facebook.
SPEAKER_08Miss Giddles.
SPEAKER_01Giddles underscore cosplay on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, those the black McCoy. The black McCoy uh on Facebook and Instagram. And TikTok, I guess, if you, you know.
SPEAKER_08So um, as we said uh earlier on, we're going to open a space uh on Facebook uh as well as uh hopefully on Instagram where you will have the opportunity to post maybe different topics that you want us to talk about. Um soon we'll be implementing an anime, uh once-a-month anime uh topic or podcast episode, uh, where we'll be talking about specific uh genres of anime, uh eras of anime, and um seasons of specific anime. So tune into that one. Um if you have any questions, feel free to hit us up at our social media hashtags, uh, which will be Umbust Arcade, Blurred Spectrum, black people who watch anime, black people who play video games and all that jazz. Uh until next week, we will see you guys later. Have a great whatever Earth Nation rules. Absolutely nothing.
